Isn't the point of Mint Discs serial #'s sort of what's being discussed? A way to find a consistent product, even if run to run is a bit off.

Run 1 of Brand A blue plastic flies one way, run 2 of Brand B's blue plastic flies a different way, so on and so forth. That allows you to find exactly what you are looking for in terms of flight performance.

It would give you a better chance of finding what you are looking for, I suppose. But, in long runs, there could be incredible variance among discs, even in the same run. As Kris pointed out above, there are a ton of ever changing variables that go into how a disc turns out.

I get the feeling that MVP wants to do everything they can to make every run the same. They actually seem to care, unlike some other big manufacturers. So my guess is that they aren't interested in labeling runs so that people can find what they want, they want every run consistent and similar.

What's better about it? I like the feel and flight of my eclipse Envy already. Couldn't tell you how well it glows.

In the video it looks to glow much more than the original. I like playing glow, so I'm stoked to throw glow in plastics I know! Rhyme intended.

I do like the flight if my Eclipse Envy, a tad less stable than my CN.

I like this method with companies that get smaller runs of discs like Mint. Its a leap forward for finding a disc that matches the one you prefer.
