The explanation of Gyro-X doesn't seem right, if you want to make the most gyroscopic disc possible wouldn't you want a narrower "gyro" ideally with all the weight at the outside edge of the rim?

Unless by "wider gyro" they are trying to copy Innova's V-Tech.

Looks like he isn’t an insider, just a really smart guy who knows a lot about MVP and discs in general. Interesting insight for sure!

If this is allowing them to use an even less dense core material it still theoretically increases the ratio of weight in the rim

Could be awesome for increasing slower speed players distance with fairways. If it's only gonna be used on +12 speeds, eh.

I think they should study Stuffed Crust Pizza. Call it Gyro-the-hut. :P

It sounds like a fission replacement. Can use any plastic and still have Fission style gyro.

I've got a craving and it's more stuffed crust!

I don't know if I care all that much about Gyro-X... but I will say the Rhythm / Cypher are the first new release discs I've been excited for in a few years.

I ordered 2 x 164 proton Waves. We'll see if proton + 7 grams makes them more stable.

Disc up at my place today.. Packed a cool bag: Ohm x 2, Envy x 2 (chainsaw 165 plasma + 2005 black widow neutron), 2nd? Run esp comet, whitler, tesla Halloween 2020 and relay 155 for utility..

One stroke short of money, threw a great FH for a bird with the tesla, threaded a tunnel with the Comet, made a 30' upshot with the Whitler...

Banged a shortish ace on a ctp with the black widow envy.

Not sure when I'll get to hit a course - I'm re-siding the house at the moment. Spring 2021 bag is shaping up:

2 x 164 Proton Waves
2 x 163 Proton Defys
2 x 163 Proton Craves
1 x 153 Neutron Proton blend Crave
4 x 168 SE Neutron Matrixes
2 x 168 Neutron Entropys
3 x 168 Neutron Atoms
