That overproduction is the sign you made too much money Discmania, haha… I’ll bite on the DD1 in spite of your efforts. You know, since it’s Christmas and it’ll go under the budget radar…

So, looks like the new DD1 is pretty much an orbit Grace. Also, their video was difficult to watch. I like B movies but this thing was cheesy.

I wonder if it’s exactly the same as the grace or a new mold

Given that Echo DD3s or any other noticeably more understable versions of the DD3 sell like hotcakes, the new DD1 should be an instant bestseller.

I am 99.9% sure they are doing their own thing, both plastic wise and mold wise. People are so quick to say Discmania Originals x = Lat64 Y

What ever happened to the Discmania dude that posted on here? It's been awhile. It's kinda like the Heresay Discmania thread now, no?

He stopped posting after Jussi said he would step away from the limelight after his sex scandal. I'm speculating that Discmania_support was actually Jussi

The plastic itself is definitely lat64

Supreme / royal grand / special blend s-line is the same.

The special blend S-Line of the Cloudbreaker 3 is different from the Nordic Phenom / Grand. I don’t remember where, but I heard the L64 new machines take new molds and that’s what the new discs (Royal line and rerelease Escape) take entirely new molds. (Like they can’t take a Defender mold from an old machine and use it on a new machine.) When DM said all the new creator series will now be entirely separate molds, it makes me think they bought some of these new machines too. On the other machines they used their own blend for Cloudbreaker3?

Begin speculating with little evidence:
Discmania said they bought their own machines (presumably true), and they bought the exact same machines as L64. It seems to me like it took them a while to get new C-line Originals pumping out? It’s possible they were set on entirely different plastics … until the practicality of knowing L64 already worked out some nice blends was too tempting? Grand being among the best feeling new plastics… business sense took over?

Alternate theory: Jussi demanded completely new plastics. With him out, Discmania (or parent company, wink), caved to known blends?

Wait until it’s announced that discmania is owned by Lat64. It’s going to happen eventually. Discmania has never “made” a disc.

The vast majority of disc golf companies have not made a disc. There's really only like 5-6 actual fabs, most of the companies are fabless. However, Discmania appears to have an actual disc factory that produces discs, unlike say Dynamic Discs or Millenium
