Roll with your G-FD as your workhorse for awhile and it'll get flippy after a couple months. In the meantime, you can supplement with the D-FD, but know it is going to be way more understable than any other iteration. And it only gets worse with a couple tree hits. I liked mine for a few rounds, but went back to forcing an S-Line on an anny for understable duties while my G-Line broke in.

i traded a great user on here for a sfd a while back to replace one of my perfectly beat stalkers, and well i really took a liking into it. a lot. i have thrown stalkers since my first year i started. i was told the different stabilities of the plastics with the fd can cover all my fairway shots so im trying them out... and i couldnt pass up a pink gpd. haha. xouts cuz i dont give two craps about the stamp, its just cosmetics

G-PD and G-FD have both made my bag alongside their stiffer counterparts. Loving them.

Anyone else tossed a CD2? Debating picking on up as an OS complement to my Hatchet, which I max out with at about 330 feet. Would a G-CD2 be good, or should I go with a regular CD?

sjberry2017 12-01-2014 01:53 PM

I just ordered a C-line CD2 this morning, hopefully I'll get it Thursday and be able to get out and toss it between classes. I decided to not try G-line for this disc, so hopefully they make some in S line, otherwise this C-line may be the only one I need

Jussi just announced on twitter that Discmania is releasing a new product on Friday and he predicts it will be the biggest release of the season. What are your guesses/hopes??

I have one in the bag I throw regularly. For my arm speed/style the CD2 flies like a longer seasoned first run FD with a nice fade at the end of the flight. This disc is very workable and can hold some fun lines! The control of this disc is becoming more apparent as it slowly gets beaten in after each round. I have a first run g-line coming my way I am itching to get out and compare with the C-line. I think the CD may be a nice compliment for what you are looking for.

Thanks. I am still on the fence about this and might give a light MOLF a shot in this slot, since I have one in the garage. But the CD2 does sound tempting in G-Line, so I am hoping it goes to production soon.

As for the new release, I have no earthly idea what would sell well for Discmania right now. Maybe something legit understable? I know most people like beefy discs, though, so I am going to guess G-PD2.

I have a feeling it will be their shoe. I remember seeing awhile ago that they had a shoe in the making. I DG specific winter coat would be awesome though!

I'm freaking out a little bit at the prospect of flat MD3s molded in that sweet, grippy D-line plastic. I'm gonna get soooooo many birdies!

Good, there will be many new products coming to the Discmania Store in 2015. :)

My dreams, make them come true.

We will keep this in mind for future productions

Have you seen the new 2015 JL MD2s. (http://store.discmania.net/index.php...-line-md2.html) We were looking to replicate the first run MD2's flight. It is a tick more overstable when brand new, but when it breaks in this thing is laser straight. We haven't had it too long but we have found It has a unique flight path, it doesn't want to turn as much as all previous runs of MD2. I would certainly recommend trying this one. I have 3 in the bag now.

Any flat G PD's in lighter weights in the store?

We do have some, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. There are a pair of red 168g PDs on the shelf that are very flat and waiting to be thrown.

Undoubtedly this has already been asked in this thread, but have y'all started to consider a release date for the production-run CD2's? I'm looking forward to trying an S-line and C-line CD2

The production run is coming soon for both the C-LINE and G-LINE. they should be available pretty soon.

Have you thought about the G-LINE CD2?

and is x-line(XT pro) out of the question? x-line p2 would be amazing!!!!

We will keep this in mind for future productions.

Jeeez, they have G-CD2s already?? Too bad I am all the way in Finland and that winter is almost upon us. No winter DG for me, thankyou.

Finland should have them soon.

Since the first run CD2's are out, I'd like to update my question to be when will the S-line CD2s be out? I don't really want to trust G-line (my Teebird3s are fine, but my lighter Skeeter was terrible), so a C-line and two S-line's (1 beat 1 fresh) will hopefully be a great trio.

We will keep the S-LINE CD2 in mind for future production.

The CD2 is a disc that's a lot straighter than the CD. If you were looking for an understable compliment to the C-LINE CD2, we would recommend the G-LINE CD2. We have found that the G-LINE CD2 is really good at higher altitudes, in cold weather, and for longer anhyzer shots.

Interesting guess, you'll have to wait and see.
