Crazy stuff. I knew eventually they'd be dropping some molds, but some of these choices really don't make sense to me.

Axis and Vector especially. Those molds are OG and fly amazing. The Tangent is an incredibly versatile mold too, surprised it got cut. They really don't have any other discs in their line-up that do dead straight lasers as well as the Axis, and as far as I'm concerned the Vector is THE mid from MVP. If I could only bag one mid, that'd be it.

Maybe this part of MVP's statement explains some of it?

"The primary mold used in making most of our midranges (i.e. the mold used to make the center core) was the second mold we have ever built, and the function of the nearly 10-year-old mold isn’t compatible with the new state-of-the-art molding equipment we have now. Furthermore, with our midranges being some of our earliest models, we see a lot of areas of needed improvement. We have heard the same feedback from our fans, and we agree with them."

Plastic Options going out of production (These are specific plastic options only; these molds will NOT be going out of production and will remain available in the other plastics):

Ion - Soft Eclipse - MVP Disc Sports
Ion - Soft Proton - MVP Disc Sports
Ion - Plasma - MVP Disc Sports

MVP needs to start making Soft Neutron Ions.

If they don't start making them soon I will go back to throwing Wizards...

MVP IS CANCELLED

Boy....this is rough....

I absolutely love my plasma ion. Most thrown disc hands down. 2nd most thrown is my plasma axis. And if I had to replace that, I could go back to an alias. Oh wait....

I also bag a proton wrath and a soft neutron particle.

That's almost half my bag.....

Its weird that ppl get upset or worried when a disc goes OOP. There are litterally hundreds available in all those molds. Buy 10 and you have a lifetime supply.

Yeah Im a little bummed on the Tangent and very bummed about the proton Spin!!! I just hope the neutron Spin has the same potential as proton, the electron Spin is relegated to turnovers but my one proton I use every round. Baaaahhhh. It's perfect the way it is..

I can live without more Switches, I like em but they have kind of been moving out of my bag.. The Tangent and Axis kind of hop in and out, TBH I use them less as my plasma Envy's season in. Bold move but maybe not with all the *****ing about MVP mids, they need to be more noodle arm friendly.

Can't believe the Plasma Ion.. Sorry Elmex :(

Elm since you're clearly one of the top 5 posters here, if I come across any Plasma Ions in my storage bins I'll hook you up

They certainly have their reasons, but until there is a disc being made that flies better than my Vectors, I'm not going to be pleased with this. It was already a bit of work finding board flat Eclipse Vectors, most have a bit of dome. Might take some of my slightly domey Vectors and flatten them out.
