Figured I would jump on this MVP bandwagon. Just purchased an Atom and Matrix, heard good things about both. Still new to the game so trying to find discs that work for me. Looking forward to trying these out.

I've been kind of curious what a electron Matrix might do for me but I feel like it's redundant against the Envy's.. Of course I'm guessing since I haven't bought one.

Tried a quick light wind round yesterday: Envy, Entropy, Tesla.. I really should give the Entropy a spot in the bag for a while. It made a good backup putter and I managed a tight S shot on a problem hole for a nice two... it's funny how it seems less stable at 50' then at 150'. I expect it to turn more but it's really workable for short putts. I made a lot of putts with it.

Really digging that light Tesla too.. It's probably going to throw my minimal bag into a medium setup. Seems weird to carry a FH disc but with it and the Entropy I feel like I can shave some strokes..

Envy (x2), Spin, Entropy
Comet
Relay, Crave, Tesla
Plasma Wave

Your minimalist bag is larger than mine (Nutsack) but smaller than my medium (Crunchbox), but yiur disc selection is very similar to mine.

Spin -> Tui x2
Tesla -> Quatum Astra
Wave -> Z Heat

Add a Wasp, Volt and Banzai, and we are there.

I thought the Entropy would have too much overlap, but I think it is in my bag to stay.

I do play with a Fission Tesla at times, but that is normally in my Nutsack, replacing both the Astra and Heat. I took out my HOF Wave because I was scared of losing it.

Double Nutsac, beeeachhh! :D

But I load it light so I can stuff my vaporizer and stash mini in the back pocket I speed sewed in. It will be full now at 9 discs. Might just pack 1 Envy..

Volt = Crave
Wasp = proton Envy sort of and Crave, but I tell you if I hadn't lost my favorite wasp 10 yrs ago my bag might look different.

Really intrigued by the Entropy to take a stable Envy spot, I tried it out before but it lost to a 174 N (1st run) Halloween Envy. I think the entropy will be a better fit at 168?g since all my putters are 165-167 , I still get the right weight on it for putting.

The Entropy is not an OS Envy, it's a forehand utility disc for me. More Harp-ish than Zone, but much better feeling in the hand

I tried an Entropy and didn’t care for it. Not sure why but I just didn’t click with it. Felt a lot like the Harp (which I love) but I just couldn’t gauge the distance on my throws and always ended up short or long. Still have it in the stash and maybe some day I’ll try it again.

The Envy though, well I love the Envy. I don’t bag it anymore but I still swear it may be the absolute best throwing putter ever made. I think I have five or six of them stashed away just in case. There was a time where I actually took the mids out of my bag because the Envy could cover pretty much any shot for me out to about 300 feet.

I'm bagging the Deflector now and really trying to find uses for it but I'm just not gelling with the flight. I play a lot of woods golf and often have to throw a straddle out of the rough FH flex shot and the Deflector is just hard to dial in for this. It doesn't flex out of an anny as well as I think it should considering how overstable it flies when flat or hyzer. So I keep trying to throw it on the slightest anny to get a good flex line and it's just tricky finding that sweet spot. This isn't making it very useful for utility shots. If I play a round or two with basically just it I might be able to figure it out but it's just not intuitive to me right now. I'm used to throwing an A2, Anvil or Justice for these shots.

I'd agree on Deflector. That's why I ditched it. I'd give the Entropy a shot - it's what I replaced Deflector with and I find it a far more useful disc for these utility type shots.

Agreed, kind of.. It's pretty different with the way it fights out of a turn, but similar enough at 60' ish. I will also be packing it as a forehand disc, hoping to use it for more BH's.. Maybe as a wind putter... Just trying to justify it for more than a niche spot. Typically that's where a 3rd heavy envy gets packed around and rarely used.

Use it for standstill flick approaches. Thing is the bomb for that
