So am I right to assume my inertias are supposed to be less stable than a plasma Wave of equal weight? Haha you kids are blowing my mind, now I have to find a new 157 Neutron Inertia. :)

And I'm really happy I snagged that 160 off Monocacy, all three are white, I heard that was the best color..

They made that. First run Neutron Inertias.... oh how I wish I had known and bought a stack of those.

Wait a minute... Later runs of Intertias don't fly the same? Well that sucks, I've managed to go from 3 to 0 first run Intertias since the beginning of the year. I'd planned to buy replacements, but it sounds like that's a bad idea.

I know because I awaited the 2 month later release than originally speculated haha.. First driver under 170g? Boooyah! I bought two, both 155 or so they said..!

I don't know if there's any truth to this rumour... haha. Might be a nice night for a sparkle inertia..

Only played 9 and did some short field work.. Yeah a sparkle 164 proton is roughly equivalent to my not overly worn 157 (6 ish backup FR).. Sparkle has a touch of turn and still has flashing on it, dead nuts straight though with a beautiful hard drop/fade. Nailed some tight turn (straight) forehands and backhands, no I didn't hit 300' but Mikey likey!

I have to give a strong caveat, I don't get clean releases on flexible discs. The FR Inertias were nice and firm and probably had the cleanest release of any driver ever for me; the newer Inertias feel yucky in the hand to me. Perhaps some of the flight difference is me, it might still be worth you trying 1 and reporting to the group.

I had mine on pre-order before release.

I wouldn't totally give up on them based off some idiot like me talking smack on the internet haha.. I'm also a light weight guy so IME lighter weights are beefier than 170 ish ones in terms of weight vs flight, a 170 is still beefier but it's more weight than flight.

I'd say add a few grams and you'd be fine. Or just try one out..

OG Inertias were the harder blend of Neutron. They also molded up flatter than some of the newer softer/gummier Neutron being put out now. But more than that, the flight was also different. The shift happened just about when the first Insanity came out. All Inertias (FR and subsequent runs) were that harder Neutron. Once the Insanity was released, Neutron plastic has gone throw several rounds with most being the softer, gummier stuff.

Played my first actual round in several months. Couple bad blow up holes. Few bad kicks and rolls. Shot +9 in 18 holes at my local course. Super rusty. Throwing farther than ever though (still firmly in noodle zone, but climbing). New plasma wave is getting out there! Not used to something that turns so easily. Not sure if it's just a flippier disc than I'm used to, or if it's a form thing. Combination of both I'm guessing. Still dialing things back in. Put it out there 330' on a pure anhyzer shot though. Highlight of the round.

Tried out the Gyro bag I posted on here and it did pretty well, ended up throwing the Deflector/envy/Flare combo a ton and the only thing I missed was my turnover Stag. I don’t have a volt or crave right now beat enough to do those shots. Back to the normal bag but I had forgotten how nice the Phase is. Surprisingly long for an OS disc that isn’t at the top of the speed categories.
