EDIT: Sep 23, 2013 it was approved, so its like 6 years old now and I still use it every single round. The hot pink has not faded either :D

I've still got my first resistor also. Got it the day before I went to BG AMs in '14. I was told I was gonna need a beefy fairway for the wind down there and I'll bet that disc saved me 10 strokes over the 4 rounds, lol.

My Deflector is an Eclipse that’s board flat. The two Justices I have are flat and stiff Fuzion. The Deflector might not be quiiiiite as turn resistant, but it also might have a slightly sharper fade at the end. The Justice can actually finish fairly mellow when I really lay into a forehand with it. I’m curious to see how the Deflector seasons.

My resistor has been in my bag longer than any disc I currently own and it’s not going anywhere. It started out as a <250’ sidearm disc to now being a wind fighting backhand disc. Also my favorite disc of all time for thumbers.

Hmmm yeah my plasma drivers the few I have are flat.. My plasma mids are domey.

I have mainly thrown Lucid and Moonshine Justices and your right, they don’t always fade hard, but unless i torque it too much or give it too steep of an angle it won’t turn much.

The Deflector I tried was a lot like a Gila, not much turn but it did have some. Possibly more fade than a Gila but not much.

But for some reason they do like to make things like Axiom discs with that puke green rim... WTF???

The last time I was in one of the local shops, he still had the same 10 green rimmed Axiom discs that had been sitting there for over two years. a couple of them are a dark purple proton clash iirc and a couple others are white N. Just hideous

brutalbrutus 05-08-2019 09:24 PM

That color rim should only ever be used on the watermelon discs...

The color I hate is that gold hay coloured plasma.. My Insanity has that and a light orange rim. Awful to find.

I bet Axiom would sell more discs if they quit making, or at least made less, ugly color combos. Dealers don't want to restock when they still have discs sitting on the shelves that no one wants to buy because they are ugly(or hard to find.) Or they need to let dealers pick the colors they want.

It can't be that hard to figure out which colors sell better then make more of them.

You can't go wrong with white and pink-

I lost a gold hay colored Plasma Crave in the hay field hole at Idle wild...someone found it 8 months later. He said it was barely in the grass.
He offered to send it to me, I had replaced it by then and told him to enjoy it.

Now if someone drains the pond at Idle Wild and finds my perfectly beat in 150 class yellow N Crave...I would pay good money to have it back. It flew straighter than a Comet on a full throw.
