Got through the tourney.. Nothing exciting to report, yesterday was good, today was the lower side of average.. Anyhow...

Here's the only Gyro the disc dealer brought out to Pender besides the tourney stamp ones... 155 wave, 152 crave, 164 inertia..! Really happy I ordered ahead of time..!!! He only brought Innova :( there was Discreet stuff I wanted to fondle... screw it! I got what I actually needed (as much as anyone needs more..)

Oh well it helps me save money.. My custom stamp minis I think made it in time.. Gotta pick em up tomorrow... whew!

Discraft.. Haha too good to edit out.

155 Plasma Wave should be a bomber.

I’ll be interested to hear how a 152 Plasma Crave flies.

Well you know I will get you something more comprehensive when I open up on it some more but I went out and played an after dinner nine with the dog... grabbed the three new discs and an Envy/Spin...

The Crave is the most turn resistant of the three surprisingly though it also fade the least.. Except on my steep downhill shot.. The Inertia just held dead straight. The Wave was the turniest of the three when forced over.. But it panned out wider and gained a late bit of loft.

Really pleased with the Crave really straight flyer and almost intuitive.. It was the definite highlight, still pretty stable but in a straight way. Threw it on a bunch of 220' holes too..

Inertia was a happy second.. It wasn't as stable as I anticipated. But I didn't try any real distance drives to give the Wave a real chance. Just that one uphill FH hole and I turned all three over.. They all fly pretty similar.. I will probably kick my 160 Neutron for the 152 Crave for a while.

Hard to believe a Carolina basketball fan didn't find that Crave online...:D

I had to Google that one... but yeah good colors... I could still find it easily even as dusk was turning to dark... it was a toss up six months ago when I was disc shopping whether to snag that one or the 160 white/pink one.. I have lusted for it ever since.

I now have a very nice selection of plastic and weights between molds that I throw.. Switch, Crave, Inertia, Wave (on bomber courses).. I'm going to see how that Crave beats in.. I revisited the Relay for touch straight to anny shots and it didn't disappoint, I might need another 166 Relay in the future haha :) it's funny I kind of abandoned it as it started breaking in but now I have a different use for it and it's awesome again.

I really would have thought going from a 7ish white 157 inertia to that fresh sparkle proton would have been a jump in stability but it's a lot more minor than I thought. MVP plastic just gets straighter the more weight you get on em. I just wish my soft N tourney stamp ones were 170 instead of 174.

Sparkle proton is weird. Personally, I haven't had one that wasnt less stable than the regular P or N... but its been at least 2yrs since I bought a sparkle, so that may be different now.

Very odd, here is my 152 Plasma Crave I have been bagging for about 1.5 years. Either it is a weird coincident or they ran several blue on blues at that weight.

I am neither a basketball, nor a football fan, but somewhere back in an earlier thread, I made the comment that Axiom needs to licence with the NCAA.

Come fall, East Tennessee turns orange and white. Put a big T on a orange and white (or white and orange) disc and they would sell like funnel cakes at the county fair.

I am now seeing more MVP/Axiom locally than Latitude or Prodigy; I am no longer the lone guy on the course bagging MVP.

I hadn't planned on buying an Insanity when they first came out. Release day I was fingering thru them just for funzies and noticed a grey rim red core... How could a buckeye fan resist?..:D

I posted this elsewhere but what the heck... I'm keeping the mini in the middle with gold foil on silver.
