Yea, I tend to agree. If you are going to get an Aviar to beat in, get one of the pro tour series.
ive been out of the innova game for too long im not familiar
they just stiff or "pro" durability

I've never thrown one myself but there are the McPro Aviars without the stamp. I'm sure someone else can speak to their durability. They are the same price as the rpro's are as well so you don't get gouged and still support their tour partners. Right now it looks like all they have color wise is the swirly "McPro" leftovers...
That's basically what I did but not really intentionally. I had a cycle of wasps going at one time and lost the middle stability one right around the same time I figured out what the Envy was capable of, so I just never replaced it. The newer wasp was shelved for a buzzOS and, like a moron, I sold it(bottom stamp blueberry cryZtal:wall:) before i realized I didn't like the BOS. Figured out I could throw most of those shots with an Envy or my beat Resistor. The beat wasp and Tangent are still in the bag but rarely got used the last couple years...
...of course none of them are being used anymore.:(

And you complain about Electron... DX
Avairs do fly well though.
I agree about the holes in the lineup. MVP does not do understable well at all. Relays and Inertias are exceptions but they are only slightly understable.
Well maybe try their understable molds instead of their straight finishing molds ;)
Spin, Vertex, Theory, Signal, Orbital, Wave, Catalyst....they have plenty of flip machines in their line-up.

I don't know if it's the answer to anyone's quest to fill a bag slot, but I just played a round with a 173 Soft Proxy and it has a beautifully straight and glidey flight. Reminds me of the stability of a brand new FR Ion. On a hard rip it had a slight and slow turn. Under 275' it's a pure line holder. It has a bit of dome and hangs in the air better than any other MVP putter I've thrown. On putts and short runs it behaved similarly to my seasoned Electron Atom.
From initial results today it seems to fit perfectly between my Particle and Vertex to round out my putter drivers. I have been so much better lately driving with putters/Vertex than I have with my Axis and Vector that I've been seriously considering dropping them and going from driving putters to slow fairways like Relay/Crave/Pyro/Deflector.
Hold a gun to my head and tell me I get one mold to throw for the rest of my life, and I'd pick a Soft Proxy. It's amazingly versatile. Right now I bag a Proxy, Envy and Entropy for my driving putters, but I may end up going with just the Proxy / Entropy combo.
I like the Particle a lot and find it more comfortable in my grip than the Envy, especially forehand. But I switched back to the Envy because I have about 20 of them in very bright, easy to film colors.
If anyone doubts the Proxy is the way, the truth and the life, just watch me throw this course for my first time with nothing else in my bag:
It is a line shaping machine. Hyzers, anyhyzers, dead straight, forced turnovers, flicks from the tee, rollers, putts - truly a one disc does it all kind of mold.

Forgot to post this link. This was my first time throwing hole #1. The rest of the video is mostly other molds, just wanted to show off a nice flick field ace :D
It's kinda touchy like that too much power and it turns over, since it's understable it doesn't pop the nose up and instead of gaining height loses it.
I dunno it just doesn't hold height on that hole like a Tangent, ends up short. I guess I could throw it higher

I have a stable HOFC Wave in my bag...
I didn't say that MVP does not have any US molds, just that they suck....and they do.
What does the Theory, Signal and Orbital share? Speed dependant stability and low glide. Just say no the S shape flights...
The Spin flys alright, but it is in that only slightly understable slot... and it feels like crap in the hand. Yes, hand feel is personal, I know.
So I will stick with Discraft, DGA or RPM for my understable needs.
