Yeah probably something you want to feel up... I prefer the squared corner core but I can't live without my Spin.. It's the most understable gyro going, I threw Anodes for the pre Axiom years and Ions.

I you use a fan grip, you probably wouldn't even notice but I throw a power grip almost all the time.

I keep eyeballing a Sting in the store.. It's max weight first run and non gyro haha.. So then I'm thinking you know I should just get a fresh 168- 170 Relay with same flight numbers and try to rekindle my love for the one I kinda wore in, start a cycle... anything near me (as in if an envelope shows up with discs in it I will get beat) is either heavy like my max weight which I have or is around 165 which I have and/or is orange/red which I have 3 discs in gyro. I refuse to get another Disc that looks like the other 3 I bag... aarghhh come on MVP get some new colours! I will keep an eye out maybe when the disc dealer comes to the tourney in May I can get one with flight numbers so it looks different. So annoying.

Relay and Sting really don't overlap all that much. The Sting is more like what the Inspire was Supposed to fly like...

Watched all three videos. It is amazing how well those guys get the Proxy to hold a hyzer at 280'+, and yet they can also get it to hold an anny under 150'. Appears to be a magical unicorn disc in those videos. I think I'm convinced. I'll grab a Proxy, especially since I realized I let my old man borrow my Colts while he's trying to learn the game.

Yeah, it's magical. The amazing thing is that even though I'm no Mike c I can do the same proxy things, just on a less far scale. Good among wide range of power.

All this Proxy talk and I pulled mine out and messed around in the yard... and then I though what about my Neutron Atom, it went better, I might bag that for a week or month while my Envys are breaking in..

How firm are the N Atoms?

I am a big fan of the Soft and Firm E Atoms, but pretty much despise medium E and Proton.

Really nice, I have one thrower one show-er heart of Chains run... firm but grippy... just enough flex in the plate it's not plasma country but it's not hard.. Best thing that ever got close to kicking the Envy.. I'm going to try it as a milder approach straight disc, something I can romp on for straight lines with a little anny adjustment and straighter fade. Not as glider as electron :) good for me

I've only thrown a Soft Neutron and this echoes what mine does. What's great about the Proxy is it feels virtually the same as the Envy, you just lose the LSS. Basically the same relationship as the Ion and Anode, one will fade and the other will do its ****edest to stay straight. I think it powers down alright but like somebody said, it's a lower profile faster putter so it still needs some good spin. I would guess a Plasma Proxy is what you want for negative LSS but that's just a guess.

I find the N Atom a closer contender for feel and flight to a seasoned straight Envy... just an opinion.

I am a sucker for special stamps. Even though I doubt I will like the Entropy as it has been compared to a Harp( I do not like the hand feel), I feel a need for the LE stamp...

Yep. I'll grab one (or two). The only question is whether to stop by the local shop and grab a neutron or neutron soft, or order a plasma from Infinite. I think I want a plasma, but I have a gift card to the Disc Store here in town and they only have neutron/n softs.

I think I just answered my own question. Using my Disc Store gift card, I can pick up both a Neutron and Neturon Soft Proxy for under $10. If I order off of Infinite it's $19 (including shipping) for one Plasma. Assuming that any stability difference is relatively minor, I feel like it's not worth it to go the Plasma route. OF course if I fall in love with the mold then I'll eventually have like 3 in every single plastic.

The Inertia powers down real well... I'm a fan I like the lighter weights for it vs the Amp... with your love of Volts how about the Amp?

Amp is nose angle sensitive and has more of a dumping fade.

Yeah I didn't like the Amp but I assumed that would have been better if it was lighter. I gave mine away after a tourney two weeks ago, I packed the Amp as a water disc.

I can laser an inertia to 300' before it starts fading for last 50'. I love my 155's, my 175's are a little beefier. I'm keeping an eye out for a 165...

Basket is 360ft and tucked just passed the end of the shadow line along the left side. Threw the same shot I always do, a flip to flat from the elevated tee and it would fade in usually just short leaving me a 10-25fter. This particular time it flipped to flat and just kept going. It landed a little short of the flag in the middle of the pic up on the soccer field, lol. Funny thing is, I wasn't trying to throw it for max distance but just pured it. I wish we had thought to step it off, had to be over 500ft...

Late that summer I had my first of what turned into 6 or 7 bad right ankle sprains over 2 and half years. I had just started to get some flexibility back when I first wrecked my shoulder trying to throw a big hyzer FH uphill. I kept playing for a couple months and was getting some of the power back when I had the last and worst ankle sprain. Spent a month on the couch and I guess during that time I lost all the muscle I had built up around the shoulder injury. The first time I tried to play after that was when I finally realized how bad it really was. I was a little sore but didn't really think to much about it at first. Then I got to a long bomber hole and tried to do a full power shot with a big reachback and it felt like someone stabbed me in the arm.

In lefty news, I went to the field down the road a couple days ago, for the first time this year its actually been dry enough. Threw a couple wasp shots in the 150ft range, wasn't really trying to do too much at first. Then I pick up my 156g fizz Photon just to see what would happen and I threw it almost directly sideways, lol... I put the G in griplock throwing lefty too it seems...:|

Yeah white looked good.. I also liked the green and grey ones. What colour did you get?

White, just at a lower weight than I wanted.
Grey did look good as well, just needed a brighter stamp for it.

I like max weight for putters and mids...because I am using them for control rather than distance. Drivers, I do like light.

I picked up a 169, and I will throw it to see how it plays.... I just doubt it will make the cut. I am not seeing it kicking the Ti Drone out of the bag.

I will probably do a ripple dye on the half that's not stamped. I want to do an aurora borealis dye, if I can figure out how to do so. I probably should test that on a non LE disc though.
