Witness vs Diamond 170 karat

Is the diamond the replacement for the witness? I was told to try the witness as a hyzer flip or roller disc but it seems to be discontinued. The newer diamonds come in heavier weights now

The Diamond came out 3 years earlier than the Witness, so it's not a replacement. But the Witness is OOP. The 2 molds are pretty similar. I have a 170 karat Diamond, but I'm not sure if those are regular production now.

I’ve got a fresh 175g Diamond and it might be the straightest fairway I’ve ever thrown. Very little turn unless I really rip it, and very little fade. Very similar to the Maul for me. My beat Maul is a hyzer flip machine.

I also have a tree-hit-free Diamond at 173g. I have a noodle arm (250ish?) but for me it has a bit of turn and minimal fade if you keep it close to the deck. I have one shot at a local course that wants to keep right, but it’s also downhill, so if I don’t keep it flat, it will die off to the left if it’s got too much altitude.

That is all on a flat release.

If I put this thing on ANY kind of anhyzer, it will go right and never come back. Not that it turns and burns, it just carries gently right all the way to the ground.

I don’t use it often, but I keep it in the bag for big tail winds or the occasional throw where I need something long and understable.
