Disc Golf Course Review - Are we not taking Covid-19 seriously

That illustrates a problem with re-opening disc golf, and re-opening almost everything else.

Things that should be able to be done safely, or at least safely enough to justify their re-opening, depend on people actually doing them safely. I wish I could be more optimistic that they will.

I went to Walmart for the first time in 2 months, and a big banner proclaimed that their employees were wearing masks (and implored customers to do so). Well, you can imagine the customers. But the employees were wearing them correctly.....and wearing them over the mouth only.....and wearing them around their neck....and not at all.

Restaurants here opened with strict limitations on capacity and seating separation, but people mobbed shoulder-to-shoulder outside them.

America is the land of the selfish and shortsighted.
I trust almost no one to be cognizant of their impact on other people.
And so, sorry restaurant owners, but I won't be eating in your buildings until there's a vaccine.

I get the money thing and reopening restaurants... but here comes wave 2.. It's our long weekend, our small little community is likely going to be 300 percent larger this weekend and possibly 500 percent.. 2000 people permanent to 10,000 max on long weekends... scares the bejesus out of us.

I forgot to mention that I didn't take that picture. It was on King Sooper's Facebook page, so other people are noticing the same things, and complaining.

This morning I saw two people in the Meat Department. One had her mask completely under her chin, and another had his under his nose. Then there was the guy stocking shelves wearing no mask at all.

I fear the people who are most vocal about "valuing their freedoms," are going to behave in a way that costs a bunch of us our freedoms.

I agree with you that something is better than nothing, but these are pretty simple devices to operate.

I don't like wearing them either, but if a business requires me to wear a mask, I would hope they're following proper procedures as well. I currently avoid all stores, but a grocery store is something we all have to visit.

It's really not hard to wear one correctly. Not particularly pleasurable, but not hard to do.

But, yeah, the person just covering their mouth is still better than the person without a mask, at all, if that's all we can get out of people.

It's weird now to not have one on. I would feel like I was offending others if I didn't have a mask on.
