That's the advantage of throwing like a 6 year old girl like me. I can drill a tree 30 feet away, and still not hurt Zero Line!
|
can my fellow Pure throwers help me with doing ourselves with a solid?
start emailing Lat64 and asking for Pures in goldline and/or opto. if we can show that there is enough of a demand maybe we can get them. i want a premium Pure that will retain its original flight for drives. info@latitude64.se |
Based on this site and DGR they would have to be deaf, dumb and blind not to know there is some demand. But they may need more demand than a domestic manufacturer in order to justify a new model. That may also be why they limit their colors and weights more than other companies.

i will email ... but i expect they haven't had to run pures in a long time. And they are busy pressing Westside molds (and maybe Prodiscus?) between their own.
I'd pay $30 for an Opto Pure if anyone has/knows of any. |
The Prodiscus Jokeri profile feels a lot like my Zero Pure in the hand and the premium plastic seems just like Opto. Side-by-side they also look very similar; however, the flight is definitely quite a bit different. Not sure what other people's experiences are so far, but my Jokeri flies very overstable. It also had a very slight dome to it (starting about 2 inches into the flight plate) until I put some boiling water in it to flatten out. Hopefully that will help a little.

I like my Jokeris, but they feel a little bit deeper than the Pure to me. I have one in the bag for head winds and short shots off the tee when I need some fade, but they aren't a Pure. But you are probably right in that they are about as close to an Opto Pure as we can get right now. Definitely a good choice if you are looking for a more stable alternative to a Pure. And that Premium plastic feels totally indestructible.

Gold Line would be perfect. They can even call it something different, and I'll still buy it.

Ok, for all the long time Pure throwers here is my question. Why wouldn't I just use a heavy Opto Fuse instead of a Pure for approaches and off the tee. I am throwing the Pure pretty well, but I think I improved faster last year when I simplified my bag and cut my molds down. Anybody tried this experiment or have a good reason why I should stick with the Pure over the Fuse for those shots?
