The Ky Gov has said, during his press conferences with protestors in the back ground, that he is not concerned about his political career at this point. His concern is the people of Ky. I've heard him say that more than once. *Gotta respect that.

*to the DGCR trolls, I know you don't have to gotta do anything.

Kinda baffling that you're so willing to accept the conclusions of the Great Orange Angler, then.

Lord, save us from political anglers before its too late.

Think of how hard it would have been in January or February, with few cases and no deaths in the U.S. Now we have a quarter-million known cases, far more presumed, and 40,000 deaths, and there are still people saying we shouldn't be worried about it. So, absolutely, those who acted instead of reacted deserve credit.

Trump administration stated they were weighing the benefits of China having a large outbreak vs the US's chances it wouldn't be serious here. Economically could have been a big "win". In January officials were pontificating on the economic advantage we were sure to get.

"US commerce secretary Wilbur Ross has said the deadly coronavirus outbreak in China could be positive for the American economy."

"Big Oil" is likely taking COVID19 seriously, trading below $1 a barrel now.

I read this and thought no way, but it's true. Holy sh!t. I was always happy to hear it had gone down to $50 a barrel, this is unreal.

If that means they’ll pay me to take it off their hands, put me down for 100,000 barrels. I won’t even insist on delivery until 2030 or so

That's the catch. You have to have someplace to put it in May.

Sure, but you need to cover transportation and storage costs until then.:)
