Discmania Support: do we have a timeline on the c-line P2 that just debuted in Simon’s USDGC vlog? We can’t keep throwing d-line into trees!

2022 for sure but no decided date on those just yet. Make sure to be nice to the trees!

Italian plastic is super expensive. 22€ for c-line md3. No thanks.

And I thought their Evo was high at $20USD. This puts the MD3 at ~$25USD. I wonder if it is a special introductory 1st run price, or $25 is the new standard for a non-signature DM disc?

Where do you see that price? It says 17,66€ on the Euro site.

it does say that on the product page, but if you search "c-line md3 discmania europe" there is some text (in google search results) that says "Rating: 4.6 · ‎8 reviews · ‎€21.90 (typically €25.50)". I'd go by the info on the product page, I'm wondering if maybe this was the price of past special runs? who knows. little strange that the product page on the US site doesn't have a price yet

Here:
https://www.dgcoursereview.com/forum...1&d=1633700055

But you’re right. Once you go to the site, the price drops.

22€ for the MD3 here in Sweden. . .strange that a disc made here in Sweden is 6€ more that a Champion Innova disc made on the other side of the World.

But they could take 30€ and still sell out. . .so why not?

I was able to throw the new C-Blend MD3 at my local pro shop today for several throws.

First off, the plastic feels amaaazing. Reminds me of K1 from Kastaplast. Very grippy, but I don't know how durable it is.

Flight wise, it's very glidey, yet has a consistent finish. Very slightly beefier than a fresh Z-Buzzz, but maybe not quite a Champ Roc3. I'd rate it at 5/5/0/1.5 or even 2.

Wow. What a pro shop to let you throw discs! The more reviews I hear, the less excited I am to buy my first MD3. Waiting to hear if it significantly resists torque and turn out of the hand, or if it turns more the harder it’s thrown. Plenty of mids turn more the harder they’re thrown. I found the L64 Trust to be remarkably resistant to turn, but still with gentle fade. Already have beat Buzzz and stable Buzzz.

I don't think this will turn more the more you put on it. The bigger arms here who throw 450ish still think it's a pretty stable midrange. This is Discmania's staple workhorse midrange, meaning it will start out in that straight to finish flight, then beat in to become understable over a long period of time. Those kinds of discs have the longest lifetime and are the most workable out of any disc.

I'm looking forward to the color glow variant. If it's anything like Innova's color glow, it will be even grippier yet and glidier, and hopefully it won't cost 300 bucks on the scalper's market.

What’s the Meta plastic comparable to?

The Meta Tilts appear to be made in Latitude 64's Opto/Lucid/VIP X plastic.

Dylan (one of the guys throwing it) has a pretty big arm and Noah (the channel operator) is no slouch either. definitely seems to be resistant to turning over as far as I can tell from their throws/words

People who think the new MD3s turn with power need to go back to watch videos of Kyle and Eagle throwing them. The red midrange is always a MD3 (unless a little deeper red, with a noticeable dye on top, then its Eagles Mutant, but the flight pattern ought to make that self-evident anyway).

That's been my thought too, skins/jomez? at DGLO when they first started throwing them you could see the disc kept being more stable than they expected. If it's stable for the crush boys, it's gonna be plenty beefy for us mortals.

I know I saw an instagram story post by jussi months ago that had some sort of test fd in it so you very well might be right

also FWIW I saw the discmania account say on instagram that the pink ones of this run *might* be the flattest (of available colors)

seedlings 10-20-2021 06:15 PM

Well, the MD3 offering didn’t sell out in 30 mins. In related news, the color Blue is out in 2022.

What makes you say “so good”? I have one and haven’t been able to throw it yet😢 but it feels amazing in the hand.

Well, the plastic just feels grippy even in colder conditions. I tend to have release problems with premium plastic putters due to dry hands, so I could imagine that the new C-line P2 would be perfect :)

RC2 is coming November 3rd.

Discmania - when are we going to see the C-line version Tactic that we've been seeing the team guys throw?

Good question! These will not be made at all most likely. However, a Neo Tactic is entirely possible. We don't want to mix and match plastics from each line
