JTacoma03, stiff P-Line MD2's are fantastic(Actual pro plastic, not the KCP). I find that they break in a little quicker to that understable slot and then just hang out there for a really long time. I've only found them in white/off-white color. If you find anymore in the warehouse and above 175, holler at me.

How are the Color Glow PD2's compared to S lines? I have a max weight S line PD2 that I can get to just aout ~430 feet on a nice open field rip it'll carry straight forever and than fade out, but often times it'll be less distance and hyzer out sooner!
Also, P line DD's are awesome... No other Pro discs I've thrown has such crazy HSS it's amazing! DD's PRo always has color swirls too so I'm excited it's becoming my favorite controlled distance driver! I'm trying to see if DD's and PD2's can be my destroyer type slot. |

PD2's aren't my main driver though so others may have more experience. |
I recently picked up an opaque orange CMD2. Kinda domey. Any ideas on what run this is and how it compares to other MD2s?

Any plans to run P-fd2?
What's up with your Pro line DD's compared to all the other P lines? I had a pd2 even that was flippy on me but the past couple weeks and even in my two tournies this week I was absolutely crushing my 169g P line DD... Just no turn, glides for days straight, and then falls down. I had to have hit 450 feet on 2 holes this weekend. Not to mention I crushed 3 trees at full power and there literally wasn't even a scratch, which just isn't what pro does... haha. This stuff is like star. I need to buy all of the P-line DD's. Also another plus? They have awesome swirls in the plastic too.. Might have just found my workhorse controlled distance driver. my cPD is a bit straighter, but when I need that straight bomb to fade, P line DD every single time, unless heavy wind. I remember aiming directly between two trees down the middle 400' down the fairway and going right between those two trees and than far past that both holes in my doubles round yesterday.. Just a laser! Keep doing to the Pro plastic whatever you are doing with them in the DD mold :P |
Or an S-line FD2 maybe. Just curious, as if there is any pro line disc that actually has full HSS like the DD does, I'm throwing it... There's so much grip and glide in that plastic.

I can throw my S-line Pd2 plenty far as well, Maybe i'll have to check out another P line sometime. My dog might have become friends with my first one.
|
Yeah i dont have the arm for normal PD2s either, but beat me up a P-PD2 and Im good to enter warp speed. This one really eaten up even flips for me.

What is the recommended mid-range from Discmania for straight / straight and fade to the right shots? I'm RHBH.

Without starting a bunch of "VS." threads, can throwers or reps please comment on the MD in comparison with discs like the Mako/Mako3? I LOVED the feel of the Mako3 in the hand, but found it a bit touchy for my swing consistency. A touch more torque resistance with similar flight characteristics would be right up my alley.

I just realized DM only has one disc in EchoStar (DD2), any plans to run more molds in it?

The pinks can handle a fair bit of power and won't turn and burn(Similar to the orange proto's). They will hold straight and then have a very gentle hyzer finish to them. |

I'm digging the Oranges and Pinks because I can throw them into a smooth turnover but they have enough stability to finish flat, no worries about landing on edge and cut-rolling. Yellow/Dayglow seems to turn a little more in this run, so you can tune the color to exactly how much power you need, which is always nice in a finesse disc. Hope this helps everyone! |
Do you think you'll keep the MD in the bag despite seasoning MD3s? I have a load of beautiful P-lines that are getting PERFECT, and as a former Roc thrower, I wonder if I won't simply end up with a bag full of Ps and a single C or Glow for wind/downhill/hyzers.

I tried buying some disc this morning from the Discmania store and I got an "Approved-100" error. Also is there a reason why there isn't https: on the store website?

How do the 5th run C Line FDs compare to the red hybrid S Lines?

So I felt the X-Line plastic for the first time this week and it is awesome. The P2 is also awesome!
Is the discmania store the only place to pick up X-Line P2's right now? Besides the black market of course. Any hope for greater availability in the near future? |

The Discmania store is awesome but the shipping. I just want one or two for now.
|
x-line should def. go into regular production. P1x and P2 are awesome in it. X-MD? could be interesting too. Drivers it probably grinds up too fast.
|
my gf's archangel has held up amazing in xt, I would love to see whippet, fd and panther in it
|
I'm experimenting with switching over to the P1x for all putting duties. KC Aviars have held that spot for years, but these just feel so great in the hand! Rocking 2x D-P1x for putting duties, a P-P1x for approaches/drives, and the trusty Gummy Champ Rhyno for Rhyno stuff. Hopefully, one of the D-Lines will season up to a touch approach/anny putter for throwing, as well. They are surprisingly stable brand new!

I heard there were plans for a pd3.

I have no problem spending the money on shipping when it is that quick. My order was delivered in a nice Discmania printed box and even included some watermelon Jolly Rancher candies too. Thanks Guys! |
I understand why initial releases of discs are produced in c-line (marketability, sales, etc.). How long does it typically take for a disc to make it into s-line (I dont recall the lenght it took for the PD)? More wondering about the process/decision making when it comes to a disc like the FD2 or new FD3. Will some discs never see other plastic types because the c-line mimics the flight numbers so well?
|
Are the KC P2s being made anymore? i putt with the p-line but the South Carolina Heat still makes them a little floppy. For me the stiffer the better.
