I'm not sure if it is just mental but this plastic feels the best in regards to grip, density and durability. I hope Discmania continues to use this plastic if it's still available. Seems rare in the newest production runs of Innova Star plastic. I say rare but honestly haven't seen it all.

Also, D-Line P3's please.

For the most part, this plastic is long gone. Many people have noticed that fan favorite red plastic, and sometimes dark blues, that have the champy star (hybrid) composition. Unfortunately plastics come and go and the nature of the beast is that each huge batch that comes in can be a slight bit different than the last. Though a few blends are tried and true, there are others that will arrive a tiny bit different and that's what makes the changes that everyone notices.

A very solid point. We had plans for them but elected to pursue a couple other projects first. There is a small chance that these will be available this winter season but I would lean more towards a late winter/early spring release if any.

I’d like to talk “Swirly S-Line” and if these are a bit of a test/experiment. Got my shipment of Swirly P2 and P1x and they range from a little champy to straight opaque champy. I think I got some regular S Lines that are actually more swirly... it seems most are just mushy (and is becoming a trend) and I think in the Swirly world - less is more. A bright color with some other bits built in. The Doom Birds were better IMHO with mostly more true “SLine” although those got champy too.
This seems a new type of process and wondering if that’s why the plastic is different. Doesn’t seem to just be bits of other color plastic melted in, these swirls are more broad and subtle, like a dye is added or something. I know secrets can’t fully be revealed, but boy I’d like to go to the shop and show them what a little sprinkle of color into bright SLine plastic will do :)

Excellent points. These are things we have suggested to the production team in the past and we will see how that pans out. We feel the same way in the fact that less is more. In the midst of producing so many discs, it would seem as if the most effective way to produce these swirls is to use every color imaginable. Though people want certain color combos and everybody's taste is different, the most logical way is to use every color to avoid spending too much time on certain ones alone. Granted, some discs come out in a more earth-tone color occasionally but that is the nature of the swirl game.

It’s all abooot staying warm eh! I need discmania on my noggin for winter golf.

familydogs 11-28-2017 01:25 PM

I'm dying for some production S-line CD3's! Any word on these? I had heard that they might come out in 2017. The spot in my bag next to my C-CD3 must be filled!

Dire Wolfy 12-01-2017 01:18 PM

Will you guys ever make an overmold?

https://store.discmania.net/index.ph...-huk-dyed.html

"These Huk Dyed discs were hand dyed by Jay Harbour the man behind Huk Lab himself! Get a piece of the first collection of dyed Huk discs at the Discmania Store!"

Could someone explain to me how is this possible? Or am I just missing something? If I understood correctly they claim that these are one of the first Huk dyed discs but that most definitely can't be right, can it?

B The V 12-02-2017 05:53 PM

They are part of the first collection of discs at the discmania store to be huk lab dyed. Not first discs ever.

B The V 12-09-2017 12:53 PM

So, going back to the confusion on the new run of P line md3's, are we seeing that in the last mystery box? Or did we miss it?

broomerang 12-10-2017 04:19 PM

Mystery Box was pretty cool. I won't give too much away in case some folks haven't opened theirs yet but there is a pretty sweet surprise at the bottom ;)

I'm curious about S-Line CD3s. I hope they fly like further S-Line TDs.. But the main thing I'm hoping for is a new run of D-Line P3's. Yup it's that time again. More P3's please.

B The V 12-11-2017 11:04 AM

D or P line p3x's would be cool as well, but realize that probably won't be for a while.

Theres some really good glow pro plastic being used right now by Innova. I won some white pro gators and kc rocs at a couple different tournaments. I didn't know they were glow until i put them under a lamp and then turned the light off. I bet it's the same stuff used in the new Eagle P2s. Would be awesome to use it for P3's. I wanted to like the P3X but the flat bottom feels weird on my finger tips. The DT Omega3 Driver is similar to the P3X. It might fit what you are looking for.

Flick Maniac 12-12-2017 01:40 AM

Dude close to DM has been hinting that a D-P3x does exist. If, so, CAN NOT WAIT!

Flick Maniac 12-12-2017 05:23 AM

S-CD3 seems to be available in 3 days in Finland. No picture to identify whether a full stock run or what, but gotta say FINALLY
https://www.powergrip.fi/tuote/scd3/...ia-s-line-cd3/

Thanks to Enrico for the snipe.

B The V 12-12-2017 11:28 AM

What does the guy close to DM have to say about the availability of the soft p line md3's?

1st edition. Not sure I can afford 2nd and 3rd edition this year. I'll be honest I will be super jelly if I missed a disc I really wanted.

Good question. Production runs of the P-MD3 will be back. What you are seeing are "driver pro" P-Line MD3's. Essentially it is the plastic that has been made with things like the FD, DD2, PD, etc. This run in particular is quite nice. These were part of a special batch that we wanted to use for Mystery Boxes.

Also a good question. We have discussed it for sure. Not in great length but that task is definitely on the radar. I wouldn't expect something like that to be produced in 2018 though.

S-Line CD3's will be available for purchase today! These ones will be a welcome compliment to the C-Line version and will for sure have a home in your bag.

Toques/beanies will be available soon! Already available at InnovaStore if anyone wants one quickly

Will driver pro md3's be available for sale outside the mystery boxes?

Good question. No these will not be released on the store. There was a very limited batch of these produced and saved specifically for the campaign. We hope people find these to be a pretty neat item because they are very rare and feel amazing.

Big Tone 12-20-2017 09:23 PM

3rd edition large mystery box arrived today... :)

paid for 2 day shipping... :|

No "driver pro" P-Line MD3... :(

Is Santa going to put coal in my stocking this year?!

B The V 12-21-2017 07:22 AM

That stinks. I ended up with two and buying a "dp" p2. Wondering if I should bag or sit on them.

bogeyfreetilinfinity 12-22-2017 03:41 PM

are new discmania discs embossed with disc names or penned? just curious

Jenga54 12-22-2017 04:47 PM

Still penned, as of this writing...
Don’t know if they’ll switch but who knows

B The V 12-22-2017 10:36 PM

P or D line p3x's? Will those happen soon?

Owensjef 12-27-2017 07:13 PM

Are the infinitediscs.com VIP SERIES s-cd3 the same run as the new production release?

Jbultman 12-28-2017 03:55 PM

Beadlesss mids

Looking to move to the md3/4 from roc and roc3s because of issues forhanding with the bead. I have a couple questions though that I can't seem to find answer to...

--Ive heard the Md3 is similar to a beat Roc3. Correct or incorrect?
--Is the champ roc3 most similar to a glow md3 or c-line md3?
--What's the difference in flight between a eagle glow md3 and a c-line md4? Would they overlap

Thanks

Owensjef 12-28-2017 10:04 PM

Incorrect. An Md3 and roc3 are similar stability both new. Champ and c line are literally the same plastic. Md4 has a lot of glide but alot more fade. Think middle between gator and roc3
Champ = c line, star =s line, gstar = g line. Etc.

Thanks, what about a glow md3. How does that compare to a md4? I've read that the glow is much more overstable, close to overlapping

Owensjef 12-28-2017 10:23 PM

My glow is the same an my c line. Eagles I havent thrown, but they’re not as stable as an md4

Flick Maniac 12-29-2017 01:37 PM

Glows are pretty much the same. Domeys ones should be more OS. Luster C-lines a little more OS too. But not overlapping necessarily no. But it always personal preference and what works for who, so get several and see what works for you. Color glow MD3s have excellent feeling plastic tho. Color glow MD4 would be lovely.

roneil 01-01-2018 10:47 PM

Swirly s line PD!!

Any chances there will be another swirly s line PD run?! These have become a staple in my bag and while I could probably just use a regular s line, there's something about that swirly plastic that flies so nice!

SD86 01-03-2018 05:18 PM

Just got my S-Line CD3 and got a chance to throw it today. It flew well in rather windy conditions, and the Tern did not leave the CD3 behind. Ill keep working with it, but it's a good honeymoon period, so far. Good mold.

Don't know, but I've been running into the same thing with S-FD's. Even my brick & mortar store (Hazy Shade) was running low on them when I looked last night. They did have C & D's though. You might want to give them a call, I know they will ship.

I stock C-FDs. And hundreds of others.. :) S-FD on the other hand have been out quite a while, will have my hands on them the minute they come back with a new restock!
