I have to rave on the d-line P2s. Just picked up a couple and the plastic feels great! However, I noticed something odd with them. When I putt with them, they are quite straight, not near as much fade as my P- or S-lines. However, when I drive with them, they are as overstable as my others. Any idea as to why this is? Seems to be conflicting results. Weird.

ArtemisClydFr0g 09-17-2018 09:08 AM

With D-line, that overstability will go away pretty quickly with use. They'll also soften up a bit. I avoid driving with them because I like a consistent feel for putting.

Any plans on purposely making a run of flat top FD3s? I love my FD3s but I’ve never seen a flat one. Is there already a board flat run I don’t know about? I prefer flat discs when I throw forehand. Flat top Firebirds sell well, I bet flat FD3s would too. If not I guess I’ll just get a PDx. I’ve seen quite a few flat ones. Any plans of making D-Line MD3s or D-Line MD4s? I really wish I could cycle either MD3s or MD4s in baseline plastic, like I used to do with Rocs. I’m excited for the P-Line MD4s. I just prefer D-Line for those rounds in the rain/snow. If I can’t get any D-Line mids, how about a new run of S-Line MDs....:)

texasissouth 09-17-2018 01:55 PM

IIRC Doombird 1 was pretty flat. I have a glow c-line that is reasonably flat that I don't throw a ton or really bag because it's dumb overstable.

DiscinFiend 09-17-2018 01:55 PM

...S-Line MD4s?

texasissouth 09-17-2018 02:07 PM

This is a glow C line if it's flat enough for your taste

Pre-Doombird 1st run Lizotte Swirly SFD3 were board flat but run a bit pricey nowadays.

The Stiff P-MD3 is where it's at for cycling. Start off pleaslingly OS like a good MD3 and cycle just like old rocs. I have a few stacks of em for sale ;)

Yes please S-MD and S-MD4!!

Flick Maniac 09-18-2018 03:35 AM

Glow FD3s are as flat as they get, and are all kinds of OS$$$$$$

These are FAF.

BB53641 09-20-2018 07:24 AM

They are also EAF.

AndyGottem 09-23-2018 01:42 AM

Anyone got a chance to test out the color glow pd?

Just waiting on those d-line p3's..

ArtemisClydFr0g 10-04-2018 09:01 AM

Do we expect to see some of the CD series in lower weights at some point? Plenty of 175s around, but I like my drivers in the mid-160s. I've been using a beefy Sidewinder instead of a CD2 and a Beast instead of a CD3, but I really prefer the feel of the CDs' rims in my hand.

discerdoo 10-04-2018 09:20 AM

^^Pretty sure they lost the recipe for discs less than max weight. 😒

Just need to look around a little bit more, there's 8 S-line CD2s on discgolfcenter from 160-166g right now, infinite discs has a ton in that range, less pickings on CDs and CD3s though.

jjsl14 10-05-2018 06:18 AM

When could we see some restock in Finland? Especially s-line discs are impossible to find in molds like TD, CD3 and TDx in lower weight classes and orange color :(

Marshall Street put up a decent number of x-out d-line P3's today. Not sure if you're waiting on actual stock stamped ones or whatever.

I was on it immediately. Bought 6 max or close the max. Worried about x-outs with out seeing them in person so I was cautious. Should know today if they are in good shape. Will get more if so.

Bradley Walker 10-09-2018 09:49 AM

For 11 speed lovers.

I do not know why the DD is not more popular. It is like a Teerex. Rips right through headwinds. And the CD is like a Wraith but better and throws with a very predictable S curve kind of like an old DX Eagle after beat and starts out very stable. Great for cycling.

The CD/DD is a great combo. Like a Leopard/Teebrid or Patriot/Rival.

Bradley Walker 10-09-2018 09:55 AM

cd3 I meant.

You're right. I picked up three of those suckers. I am however still on the hunt for CDs and CD3s.

yungfiji 10-12-2018 03:03 PM

Was there an eta for the S-Line FD around 170 weight?

We'll have a new batch of FD's running starting in November. More specifically, the S-Line ones should begin running in early December

B The V 10-17-2018 07:22 AM

Good job with the swirly DD's!:clap:
I'm glad I ordered quite a few.

Anthony_G 10-17-2018 08:53 PM

My dreams are coming true!.. So far have 2 sets of quadruplet new run D-P3's. 2 more sets on the way. Hope to see some interesting colors (if they were produced) so might hold off and wait for more to come out. I've been jumping quick on whats been emerging. So far have light purple, blue and red on the way.

OoOOo how did they come out? Domey/Flat? Have you had a chance to throw them yet?

broomerang 10-19-2018 09:11 PM

Huge props to Chris and the folks at the DM store. I ordered a limited run disc and after shipping my order they refunded the purchase price because the disc in question had a minor ink smudge. It was the last one in the warehouse so they couldn't send me another one, thus the reason they sent the disc but didn't charge me.

Top Notch customer service. I can't wait to put this disc in the bag, it's never coming out now.

They are on the domey side. Not pop top c line domey, but much domier than the 2nd runs, which are flat as all get out. The limited throws I have were thrown next to my 2nd runs. They seem to have more glide and have more turn. They are truly the longest dd's I've thrown. The swirls are also top notch on most of them too.

broomerang 10-21-2018 06:36 PM

If you run another batch of driver pro p-line PDs with the small swirls in them I'll buy 10 (at least). I will also start making youtube videos and rejoin all the social media to tell everyone how everyone NEEDS this disc in their bag. I know they don't "fly like a PD". That's why they are awesome (no disrespect to the PD, the most thrown driver in my bag). Right out of the box it feels like a PD but hyzer flips to dead straight, finishes straight with that beautiful forward fade. Best uphill/downhill tunnel shot disc ever.

I've only got one backup, I don't live in FL but I understand the urge to jump into a pond full of gators to get that one disc!

B The V 10-23-2018 09:55 AM

Any rumors or hints as to what we can expect for next year? Don't need specifics. Maybe just let us know if a a new distance driver or fairway is coming out.

Anthony_G 10-23-2018 01:43 PM

Would be awesome if you made a deal for 3 D-P3's like you have going for D-P1x's just sayin.

broomerang 10-30-2018 12:06 PM

Mystery box teasers please!

lenfantsuave 11-01-2018 11:13 PM

Whatever happened to the C line FD2 that was allegedly coming out this last summer/fall?

hurricaine 11-05-2018 09:18 AM

Jussi was answering questions on instagram. One of the discs had a penned DD3 on the bottom

Grippenripp 11-05-2018 09:55 PM

Soo, I am more and more liking DM. and now I must ask, what exactly is this "anhyzer top" and is it something all of your molds utilize?

Flick Maniac 11-06-2018 02:53 AM

Not on all of them. But a lot, especially the earlier molds. It has a noticeable little downward bump going towards the top from the wing edge. Never really understood where the name came from or who made it up. On some bottom pieces it makes the disc less stable and on some more stable.

Alexplz 11-06-2018 11:41 AM

What is the bottom mold piece on the PDX? Top is clearly the anhyzer, bottom is maybe an Orc?

bogeyfreetilinfinity 11-06-2018 01:01 PM

how are the new swirly pd2s?? I miss when the discmania store site would tell about the relative characteristics of a run were.
