Looks like 220ish right turn around trees that you may or may not be able to throw over?

rhfh gl xxx down the sidewalk for the skip to the edge of the water

bhadella 04-25-2013 09:15 AM

220 right turn? LHBH ESP Zone. FLX Drone if it's more like 250-275.

BogeyNoMore 04-25-2013 09:34 AM

no nasty rollaway potential here...
Lake surface looks like there's a decent breeze coming in off the lake.

220-230'ish: Challenger or Comet
If it seems closer to 240-260'ish: beat JLS or DX Leopard.

Looks like there could be some sort of plant life impeding the RHBH hyzer route on the course map, but you can't really tell... which I think I might like better to reduce chance of gliding long and downhill past the pin.

Halcón 04-25-2013 09:43 AM

Maybe it's just the camera angle but that looks like it's less than 200'. I'm throwing an Ion right at it.

No wind: Polecat
Wind: Zone

smarkquart 04-25-2013 10:01 AM

I am a little confused by the map but I want to add another post to my counter, so I guess I will play an Ion if it is only 220 like some people are suggesting. The key are seems to be to keep it from rolling away. That is the best I have that will not roll. I was thinking maybe a Hornet because of the wind, but with the slanty hill around the basket, if the Hornet does not land flat because of its fade, it is going to roll.

Halcón 04-25-2013 10:07 AM

The picture and map do not match. You can see the bottm of the pole in the pic. Nothing is impeding a straight shot to the basket. If that truly is the tee shot from the pic, it looks like an ace run.

DBdiscgolf 04-25-2013 10:10 AM

RHBH Stratus turnover shot

rd.bittle 04-25-2013 10:15 AM

The pic is of the approach. (After the turn)

RHFH Star Wraith.

Scared_Discless 04-25-2013 10:17 AM

I'm thinking a Tursas

Crazy Runner Guy 04-25-2013 10:17 AM

X Comet or Pure, depending on distance.

mreynolds24 04-25-2013 10:19 AM

BH Fuse anny

or FH Firebird

Exovel 04-25-2013 10:57 AM

LHBH Ryhno. Then another Rhyno for the deuce.

Halcón 04-25-2013 11:10 AM

Apparently, many of us can't read, or are too lazy to. The pic says "Approach."

I'll Go Volt FH, then Ion from there.

JoeBob21 04-25-2013 11:28 AM

Fav new disc: Tursas

Simpfiend1023 04-25-2013 11:40 AM

RHFH Axis, Anode for finish

notroman 04-25-2013 11:45 AM

I found the course on Google Maps. Here's a slightly better picture of the hole. Note that those are shadows of the trees on the fairway along the road, not additional trees.

I don't have that distance in my forehand, so I will most likely throw a beat Roc straight and let it finish right a little, then either putt at it or lay up. Not going to get greedy on that pin.

^^^ great work!

Qikly 04-25-2013 12:26 PM

Nice work, indeed.

VIP Underworld (thrown wide to ensure I don't end up on the trees) -> VP -> Voodoo

Yup, me too

mashnut 04-25-2013 02:26 PM

Stable roc on an anhyzer so it flattens at the end and doesn't roll.

optidiscic 04-25-2013 03:19 PM

It's a shame. We really should be talking about hole 9 instead. That hole is amazing.

One of the most challenging and impressive "Wide Open and Flat" holes I've ever encountered.

discgolfertub 04-25-2013 04:40 PM

I'm going to throw my new moev colored Fuse.

Wizard for the bird.

bhadella 04-25-2013 04:54 PM

LHBH Champ Teebird on a hyzer route

kingjames1014 04-25-2013 05:17 PM

yeah i'd try to throw an avenger ss.
Anode to finish, Ion if it's really windy.

Disc Fiend 04-25-2013 05:58 PM

PD, then Wizard.

DanJon 04-25-2013 05:59 PM

Fresh pro leopard. Probably on an annie. Let it flatten out.

JC AceHole 04-25-2013 06:05 PM

Ricta 04-25-2013 06:27 PM

I'll go with a Meteor

Crazy Runner Guy 04-25-2013 06:52 PM

Looks about 275 to top right corner of trees from that overhead photo. That's Teebird distance for me. Rhyno up and in.
