Still a long journey for most of us but hopefully we inspired some of you to go and live the dream

Got some major projects finished this weekend....

First off, set the first pin on the course!

Secondly, hand-hauled probably a ton of the local outcropped stone to build this embankment for the pad area. Doesn't look like much.... but it is getting closer to flat now. Going to throw some crushed gravel over top of it when parks gets a chance.

Finally, I finished the second placement. I had dug down about a foot where the perfect pin placement was for the hole when I hit boulder (think holler in the hills). So, I bought a concrete form tube that is used to make small pillars/pylons and used that to make a slightly elevated pin placement. I made a dry stack of stone 3 ft diameter around the pin and filled with gravel/dirt. Unfortunately, my phone died before I got a pic. It is going to be a wicked par 4 hole. Scores will range from a 2 to probably a 6 for blue level players (eagle would be a gold level shot for sure).
