P-line too?

All P-Line drivers will not return, unfortunately

How do the Discmania Originals C-P2s compare to the Golden Wings Sky God? The Sky God has quickly become my favorite disc and I’m hoping the DM-O ones fly the same.

Probably the same run with new stamp to run out the inventory.

These are from the same run fortunately. The Sky God II changed gears and switched to the Swirl P2. The C-Line Sky God run of P2s are among some of the best ones made to date.

Dear discmania support why does my p2 fly more consistent than all the other putter molds I've used the last 18 years? Lol

Has the TDx been re-tooled and released yet? I see some available on the website, but didn't see an announcement...

The P2 is just a great mold. There are plenty of great putters out there from various companies but this one has stood the test of time and is the perfect choice for both novice players and experts alike. The Link is also going to be a big hit as well. I could even see people having both in their bags but for putting alone you might need to make the hard choice one day. Just a matter of preference really.

There isn't a plan for TDx retooling in place. The FD2 perhaps?

Whoa, hold up. A fourth retooling of the FD2?!

In my opinion (and I'm sure many others), the Royal Rage tooling is absolutely perfect.

askoa 08-27-2019 10:02 AM

Any info on the stock FD2? Will it be realeased as First run C-line (please say yes!)
The previous timeline stated that it will be released around this time... Maybe some special mystery box stuff as black friday is approaching? ;)

The threetooled is staying put. They were saying the new FD2 could be a good option?
I'd say just get a TD

On the 12th (post 3358) they said that it is still a few months out. I'm guessing the difficulty in getting on Innova's production schedule is the main reason for the Evolution and Active line partnerships.

I hope to see 1st runs sooner than later.

I saw this in the spring 2019 production announcement: "TDx: current 2017 mold discontinued, a more understable version to be evaluated"

Gonna pass on the swirly Lone Wolf since I don't like paying $25 for hard to see, hard to replace limited edition discs.

Patiently waiting for a nice production run of S and C line PDs.

Nope the current FD2 isn't going anywhere. These are just perfect!

Ah, true. No current plans in the works yet. Likely next year if so.

With Halloween slowly creeping up, can we expect anything cool this year?

I'm a little late to the party but I'm jumping on the PD bandwagon; digging the d-line.

Gonna grab some S and C when they come out in the weight/color I want.

What weight are you partial to? Hopefully it's 175g....

OldSchoolDad 08-29-2019 08:59 PM

I'd like to "third" the perfection of the new fd2.
Would trade all of my teebirds for one more royal rage.

I was thinking max for a C-line(sidearm) and 168- 172for the S.
Do they not make those? I really don't know.

Less than max weight have been pretty scarce in the recent runs. If you have any shops with used discs, take a look. They used to make them less than 175g.

I am loving the Link! It feels great in my hand, but that soft plastic beats up pretty easily. A few off the front rim and it's got a few chunks. I have a couple of the hard plastic coming. I am looking forward to how they feel/fly. I read somewhere that the hard plastic is slightly less stable. Any truth to that?

krooster 09-01-2019 02:56 PM

After flirting with the P1x, I'm back to the P1. At least for putting, I feel like it's slower and glidier and matches my putting style better.

I know it was said that it wouldn't be run in soft p-line again, but I hope it sticks around and eventually gets run in some different plastics.

Flick Maniac 09-04-2019 07:25 AM

Innovastore has the retooled C-line FD2s releasing on 09-09-19 too.

Oh yes, definitely! This year will have a different spin on it than years past. I think everyone will be pleasantly surprised with what is offered.

We have heard the same thing as well from a couple sources. Though I can't say for sure how much that is. Most of us prefer to throw the softer ones and putt with the hard ones. But that's just a matter of preference, really.

Hopefully one day there will be a special version of it but unfortunately there are no plans to do so currently.

Flick Maniac 09-04-2019 12:57 PM

I dunno. I have both of em (hard&soft) in pretty darn good shape even after countless drives and putts. IMO the soft is a little straighter of a thrower, but it could also be due to the added grip giving it better snap/spin, although I dont want this to sound like the hard lacks grip. Just a little more on the soft and also can dig in your fingers a little more for driving.

I'm saving up for an OP-Z, but the piggy bank shall be quickly raided whenever these are available.

(Please please please make 170g sexy pink ones...)

FD2s are live at Innovastore, weights down to 170g in red when I saw them.
I wonder if they’ll be available tomorrow for those of us playing catch up with the sun.

Europe was ready to release those sooner than the US so they set them loose. I'd expect to see these pop up in the next month or two. There are definitely some exciting releases to stir the pot between now and then. They're coming though!

ArtemisClydFr0g 09-13-2019 10:54 AM

Will there be another run of the Soft P-line P2s this year?

racer93 09-13-2019 12:10 PM

I had a question about the enigma vs DD3/Cloudbreaker. There, to me, seems to be quite an overlap here. In fact, there is apparently not much difference between the two. (Maybe it's specific to these runs?) Should the enigma have much less HSS vs the cloudbreaker?

I'm simply curious, as I have the CB and tested it vs domey shrykes and the CBs stayed very straight but got as much D as the shrykes but without the turn. Just curious to see what your (DM support) thoughts are.

Hoping these are ready for USDGC, I’d love to pick one up there.

Admittedly for most arms, some people may not notice a difference immediately between the two. The Enigma is definitely faster, wider rimmed, and technically less overstable than the DD3. It may help to find a lighter one to test the difference and you may have more success. By the same token, it may just be a matter of preference, really. Most of us here do have both in the bag for different reasons but for other players it may just depend on what you like to throw best.
