Review writers are required to have different people thumb up their reviews, so that a small group of friends can not simply vote a person to each level. Therefore, one needs to impress a wide variety of voters to move forward. I had the votes required for diamond status for a year or so; but was lacking in unique voters.

Yep, the levels are Bronze: 10+ reviews w/100+ :thmbup:'s, but from at least 20 different folks,
Silver: 25+ reviews, 200+ :thmbup:'s, from 35+ different folks
Gold: 35+ reviews, 350+ :thmbup:'s, from 75+ different folks
Diamond: 60+ reviews, 1000+ :thmbup:'s, from 200+ different folks!

So Diamond is actually quite an amazing achievement (continuing congrats to all, and especially to the newest, tallpaul!). Is timg still doing those amazing wooden awards?

Wooden minis are available; but reviewers participate in cost these days.

To be perfectly honest, I expected as much - they look pretty awesome and can't be cheap.
