Well thanks for that boost haha. I had to measure it to make sure, and, per Udisc, it was 340'. I was pretty stoked. I was struggling to hit a consistent 300' at seasons start.

340's a good distance for sure. I generally throw a Crave in the 300-320' range and hop up to Inertia for something closer to 320-400'. 400' being with slope working in my favor. I've recently picked up some Neutron Waves - and while I do net about 20' more over my inertias, I'm not super comfortable with the rim width. I think Im just getting old.

I bag a plasma crave too. I love it. I only get it about 270'.... although I haven't ripped into it in the open in forever. It's my go-to driver in the woods. Made some good distance improvements since then. I used a proton insanity as my main driver for the last few years before finally pulling the trigger on the plasma wave. I easily get the wave a good 30' feet further than the insanity, seemingly with less effort too.

Oh man, I was watching some fission Wave test videos.. That's looking like a real bomber!

Could you tell how Fission Wave compared to Neutron or Plasma Waves?

I saw it on FB on one of the MVP threads... looked like it was less stable or equivalent to the plasma's. The guy had 350-400 ft of power and shaped everything. Flat, hyzer flip, big anny, little anny.. The hyzer flip was cool. Looked effortless on every shot! :)

Also saw a cosmic proton wave they sent to a guy over a defective disc. It's amazE balls!

Nice, thank you. My magic disc would be a Wave that flies exactly the same as a 157 Neutron (or Plasma), but has a reliable late fade that protects me if I get over on it too much.

157 Pro Wraith seems like it could get there after several months, but I'm bad about losing discs.

So basically I'm looking for a Wave that corrects user error. ;)

Haha well I know I'm a broken record with my flavour of the month but have you tried a 157 fission Tesla?

I have. Glad it works well for you. For me it just dumped out way early, especially FH.

Pro Wraith once seasoned gives me a different flight but similar distance to the Wave. But it takes seasoning to get it there.

Well judging by what I saw I'd say go up 3g or so. Maybe 5 but who can say, that guy had more power than me. My theory is it will have plenty of turn and a bit of bite. I have found the neutrons pretty beefy, the one I have haha.

Thoughts on the Lift vs. Inertia?
