I bag a 149g fission wave. They definitely exist.

I'll have to keep an eye out for them then. While that's heavier than I'm looking for, it could work.

Just happened to be looking around...OTB discs has a few 148 fission waves in stock. It's a fun disc!

You won't find any mvp disc under 147g, fission is the lightest wave they make 147g but then in plasma it's 155g minimum. The wave is the best option for this..

Hmmm I have a 143g fission photon so im already wrong haha.

I *think* i remember seeing something in the 130's. Wanna say fission wave.....but maybe an old run of fission volt? I can't recall.

I acknowledge your statement of "need", but 135-139 Blizzard Boss would like to have a word. Fast, OS, and long, even in 50kmh wind. My noodle arm can push it out to 400+. Bonus: it floats.

I know this is off-topic re:MVP discs, but distance drivers fly faster and further than mids and fairways if you use the correct weight and throw them properly. As always, YMMV.

I'll ditto JakeBake91 on the Fission Wave, I've had a 148g for about a month now, and yes, a very fun disc to throw. Great distance with no wind or wind in my face (at stance prior to throwing) drawing in or my back fading in. Will take off down wind, but for myself not usable in a headwind, it pops up. I don't use it on heavy wooded courses or holes, and low canopy. Also, easier to flex than the heavier Fission Wave's. It's a great compliment to my Star Mamba 149g which I turnover flipping up, I've found nothing MVP to replace the Star Mamba. Everything I've looked for, I've found on OTB Discs, and there are a handful of Fission Wave's available around the 148g weight.

TL;DR - I wasn't steering you wrong.

Also, the Fission Hex is remarkable. Nothing to do with drivers, but factual.

I am loving the fission hex (178), currently thinking I will bag an Eclipse and Fission and my trusty Neutron gets the boot...

I think I’ve landed in a really good mid place with a Fission Hex/Eclipse Reactor/Plasma Pyro spread. I didn’t get along with the Neutron Hex but the Fission behaves like a mini Crave.

That is a good comparison, although I would say it is straighter for me than a crave...

My mid lineup currenty appears like it will be NS Uplink, F Hex, E Hex, E Resistor...
