For me, that's a Hatchet. Wanted to give gyro a shot at that slot and tried a Virus, but absolutely hated that disc. Worst gyro disc I've thrown. :(

Yeah I tried a 155 Orbital and a 165.. The 155 is fun but unpredictable if I am using it it's strictly for hyzerflip to anhyzers I can't control the flip to keep it straight...the heavier one doesn't really gain or give me anything just another driver with middle of the road understable/ stable just extra touchy in the wind... the Vanish is better but I burn it if I try to flip it downhill.

I'm satisfied with my lineup wind or not in the woods but I gotta have some mini beef when I play the ball golf course again next weekend.. Or in the future, I can't add a disc before the tourney.. Well maybe that sparkle Inertia I feel like I could tune that in with 10-15 throws. Probably pack the 174 N Inertia next time, last time it was gale force winds 75km/hr, the 155 Inertia did alright but I didn't throw it until the end of the round..

157 Plasma Insanity was my replacement for a 166 Tournament Hatchet. Both need seasoning to do the hyzer flip to straight shot. Hatchet replaced a 150s JK Valk, which replaced a 150s Champ Sidewinder.

Final answer.

Make sure you deflash the Crave. When I got my 152 Plasma Crave, I was very disappointed in it until I wore the flashing off. Some discs, the flashing doesn't seem to matter much, but on the Plasma Crave, it did.

Great disc overall.

I've been eyeballing that Crave for over 6 months haha..

I got a hate on for flashing I also have a long flat file so I can take it off perfectly and evenly. I have a neutron 160 and a proton 165 Crave. The protons beefy I may have to check for flashing when I get home. I remember asking on here if there was a micro bead on an Insanity, the reply was ??? So I took it off and it flew much more like how people were saying.

I think Inertia x 2 or 3, Wave, Fission Photons and the occasional Vanish should have all my distance requirements nailed.. Especially since I have a great (for me) FH this year.. I don't need trick understable slot anymore. If I throw better I've got the next step ups already.

It is so weird though that the Wave is working and similar discs aren't.. maybe I finally knocked the beef off it. I know my putter/mid form is awesome but my driving form has lost some power...

Entropy has been saving me strokes. I love how dumpy it is. Idk how much my 2k+ elevation factors in, but the overstability is on the money.

Messing with the Inertia and im starting to click with it. Very workable with a nice finish.
Wrath/Inertia/Insanity is a good fairway/control driver combo.
Eventually when i get an Inertia beat, im guessing it will replace insanity.

Still working on the Trace,Envy,Flare,Volt, and Photon.

i think im going to try a vanish i have eyeballed at a local shop. it got a decent dome. higher plh than wave.

What are you looking for? A Vanish will be flippier than a Wave, but still very usable. IMO it's what the DD Renegade was supposed to be.

I see the Elaine King Fission Photons are being stamped 11/5/-1.5/2.5. Is the news to anyone else??? I thought all Photons were listed at 12/5/-1/3, but typically flying with less turn than listed. Is MVP giving a unique flight rating for their Fission releases now?
