Upshots - Who throws their putting putters?
Upshot discs? What do you use? Premium or basic plastics? Do you throw your putters?

I prefer soft plastics for upshots and premium plastics for driving off the tee, so I end up carrying seven putters. Two putting putters, three driving putters and two upshot discs. Seven seems like too many sometimes.

What about others? Do you simplify plastics and drive a lot of basic plastic? Do you throw upshots with your putting putters?

I throw my putting Ion on most shots under 180 feet.

If I'm going for chains I'll throw the swan. If I expect to lay up I'm usually throwing a frost claymore or harp.

the claymore has enough glide for low power shots without being as affected by wind as my putters for those 100-200 layups. Inside 100 I'm at least trying for chains anyway.

I'm a big fan of the soft neutron envy for upshots within about 150'. Too many trees where I am to drive base plastic putters, so I use premium plastics for driving putters

What do you use? Putters, mids, or a driver, depends on the shot

Premium or basic plastics? Both

Do you throw your putters? Yep.

Do you throw upshots with your putting putters? Sometimes

I carry one putting putter a Soft Magnet, my main driving putter is a Soft Proton Ion, an understable putter - a Soft Magic for certain upshots, drives and some putts, and sometimes an overstable putter like a VP. I haven't felt the need to carry more than 4 putters unless I am testing out a new disc.

I don't use my 'putting' putters for anything except putting. I've got 2 - 174g Pro D Bangers for putting and 1 - Ti Banger for all other Banging needs and even for putting where I might hit a tree. This keeps my Pro D's lasting a while. I also will use my PA4 (400s), Zone (ESP) and even my Firebird (Champion) for upshots.

I throw my putting putter > 90% of approaches.

I throw a putter any chanch I get 280-300 and in. I use D P1X and S and P P2s.

I almost always approach with a putter, but not my putting putters. Most of my upshots are made with a Harp (bt hard or bt soft depending on the shot) or a Judge (classic hard or classic soft depending on the shot).
