Courses near/in Greensboro NC?

Going to Greensboro today and I would like to play a round.

Is Barber the only course? And is it worth the time?

Thanks

BrotherDave any input here?

Barber is a good course for a course with all par 3s. Lot's of cool elevation shots and a good chance to bomb a few.

In fact there is a PDGA there this weekend so some people might be out there / course in good shape.

However it's nearly impossible to play without a guide as the tees are natural and hard to find unless you know where they are.

In reality, Cedarock park in Burlington is your best bet. Probably only about 20 min from Greensboro. 2 courses in one park - one open and one wooded. It's about 15 min off 40 at exit 145.

This is also the host site of the 2013 US Masters.

I'm gonna mention Creekside Park in Archdale. It's a lesser known park in the Triad but is a very enjoyable course to play.

Cedarock/Wellspring is hosting US Masters next year? interesting.

Might try Creekside...

A little closer to my travel route.

Cedarock looks awesome though.

Thanks

Johnson Street works. It's much better than Barber.

Johnson St, Creekside, and Cedarock are all better than Barber. Barber isn't that bad, and it's one of the more open courses in NC which makes it a bit of a novelty. There's just nothing particular special or pleasant and the tees are really bad/rutted out. It is a pain to navigate but they do a really good job of keeping scorecards/map in the mail box at the kiosk on hole one.
