No matter how thorough your process is for flattening a disc, it will never fully fix a puffy nose, high shoulder, or inner rim slant.
Close? Yes, but not exact. Cooling plastic is a funny thing.

They actually work nicely as a more overstable Valkyrie or Sidewinder, or a straighter “go-to” compliment for a Firebird. Sharing the Valk bottom helps them get along. I did it for a while before...

I wouldn't necessarily call them crappy - they have the least amount of fade of any FD I've tried, and if you put them out at 80 percent power and with a couple degrees of hyzer they would go SUPER...

I considered getting one for half a second, figured it'd be the only way to get a non-glow FD2. But I don't blindly buy discs, even when I know the mold, weight, and color.

For forehand, Luster L3s are my favorite neutral to understable speed 6/7 I've come across. Maybe someday I'll have a Gibson that will flip and not fade, but for now I enjoy what it does best.
