You can throw it all you want. It has just more potential to crack is all. Remember that current run molds can crack. Who doesn't want to look like a badass making a disc shatter/crack? Throw it.

If water and weight isn't an issue. I own a Delta X with a steel frame instead of aluminum like the newer ones. It gets heavy on its own after a round climbing up and down hills.

Aviars in all forms need clean form to be thrown far. They're slow and glidey. The PnA is the worst (best) example of that. Slow down and focus on your form.
