If your looking for that quickly turning shot that doesn’t need to go that far, a Stag can work well. Thunderbird is going to pan more and is better for that snakey twisting wooded thumber shot.

Depends on the OH shot you use it for, I use a Stag as my primary BH fairway driver and use the more beat ones for quickly turning OH shots that may have some height, but not a ton of left or right...

I had a similar experience with the Solace, they fly pretty good but many similar things go further.

I’d try a Star Ape, VIP Giant or Fusion Enforcer. More glide, better grip, similar stability.
