No matter which you try, remember that large diameter mids are more gyroscopic by nature. So add the overmold and you have a disc that is very gyro. Now we could debate all day about the...

I just played a bunch of fairway driver holes with a Relay, Crave, Clash, and a bunch of Volts. For overstable I had a Deflector, Wrath, and Phase. I realize none of those OS discs are technically...

That's sort of what I expected, especially after messing with the Signal. I was throwing my Relays flat on uphill shots and slight hyzer for flat straight shot with a little action. Anhyzers needed...

The only one I have is marked 175 and weighs 176.6. It flies nice, but heavy with a higher power requirement than I want for a fairway driver. Every Plasma Volt at my local retailer is marked 175...

I just tried a couple of Relays today for the first time and really liked them. On the course I played today they seemed to overlap with my Crave a lot. The Craves I have turn a little more than...

MVP/Axiom Fairway Driver Delineation and Descrimination Thread

MVP//Axiom have released a heap of fairway drivers in the past couple years. While it is great to see a company pumping out a variety of molds at oft-neglected speeds, trying to find a starting...

The Impulse is pretty close. The one I have is not much more understable than my Insanity, but has a truer "S" flight.

For a lot of guys who max out under 400' there may not be a large distance gap between speed 3 and 6. MVP putters drive far for anyone practiced compared to other brands, regardless of max power. ...

On most courses I'm about 80/20 putters to mids off the tee on the short holes. I want soft Neutron Vectors and Theories and then I'd throw mids more.

I've been leaning on the Wrath all summer as my primary overstable driver, using flat Ns and Ps. About a month ago I picked up a pair in the newer gummier Proton that have mild domes as opposed to...

I must once again take a moment to extoll the virtues of the Particle. Compared to MVP's other putters the Particle really flies far on a low line, taking over even more mid duties. I just love the...

My relationship with the Axis is so complicated. I've thrown some beautiful shots when I've gotten it just right, but I've also had many shots that just drop out of the air.
It's so strange...

It's kind of in between, but in general it is more like a seasoned disc from group A than a new disc from group B.

I have a very unconventional stack grip that makes the wide rims difficult to handle. It took me a lot of field practice to get used to the speed 13 grip, and I can't throw all of them. The 14 rims...

About 450' in the open flat ground mild wind conditions. I'm throwing 173-174g on fairly low and straight golf lines. That is an estimation as all the distance holes I've been practicing have some...

MVP's speed 13 high-glide distance drivers are simply incredible. I have about 10 Catalyst/Mayhems in different plastics along with an Octane and there is less variation among these as an average...

I've thrown them all except Deflector and Amp. In general they have the same stability as the more overstable of the regular Proton stock. In other words not a whole lot of difference, but if...

The Crave really has the potential to shake my bag up, potentially taking over a lot of shots where I used to try and throw a mid too hard. I'm really not feeling my stable mids right now.

As I'm catching up and throwing a bunch of new molds it's not surprising that I find myself gravitating towards many of the same discs that you are bagging.

So your reason for not throwing the...

I don't know if it's the answer to anyone's quest to fill a bag slot, but I just played a round with a 173 Soft Proxy and it has a beautifully straight and glidey flight. Reminds me of the stability...

The Vertex is smaller diameter, shorter winged, with a blunter profile than Tangent/Alias/Theory. It works tighter lines over shorter distances than those more traditional mids.

That new Volt is strange. It resists flipping initially like a good Volt, but when it goes past flat it looks like an Amp or an Impulse rather than the -.5 HSS of the Volt.

The Crave is high up...
