I suspect most of the time, people doing so are simply " burning some crap they cleared out," without even realizing they've cleared out a bunch of poison ivy.

Since Maple Hill Tee signs only go 1-18, it would only be considered 18 holes, per Dread's post. There are a myriad of different layouts...
