It's more uphill than it looks from the tee shot. And the roads/trees make for a bit of a risk reward on the tee shot. I like to throw a tern and try to get in the ditch near the road on the right...

I had to think about if I had played 3 better courses in the same day. Devin's, salmon falls, and 501 was a good day. HBH Gold, blueberry, and granite would be close. Hell the three courses at four...

Oh. No. I was also quite surprised with that one, but I'd give it a solid 4.25 and wouldn't argue with anyone going 4.5. It's no doubt a solid course and real fun to play.

I threw an orc here. The right side, you can't see a decent size hill that can make errant shots penalized pretty good.

I realize, but hitting northern Alabama en route to Texas from Pittsburgh isn't terribly hard. Most of my one offs in that area of the US are from different road trips to and from Pittsburgh/Texas

Definitely agree with this. Our little group wouldn't even allow each other to have opinions on courses till they at least played 100 courses. Which was only half way a joke and 100% a way to stop...

Ohio has some good courses that don't get enough credit. Portage lakes, sunny lake, Burr oak state park, Osage, and friends of punderson are all courses I like more than deis.

Hell, I could make the world’s nastiest latex body suit out of used condoms I’ve found on the course. Would probably be pretty sticky from, sadly, not just breathability issues.
