I don't have a beat Volt or Photon, so I supplement with an Impulse and a Wave until then. TBH the Impulse and Wave are pretty much flippy versions of those discs.

This is very similar to what I'm using. A Photon on the overstable side can totally cover Wrath/Tesla shot...In fact flying a little lower/faster with more bite they seem to both compliment my...

The P Matrix has been pretty easy for me to switch over to. It flies pretty intuitively if you're experienced with Axis/Vector/Buzzz. I'm really pleased with the disc's ability to fly hyzer, flat,...

My new Matrix has almost the exact same HSS of a flat Proton Axis from a flat throw. Because of the blunter nose and probably more gyro (Matrix built like putter where overmold is the entire wing)...

Picked up a superflat Proton Matrix @ 176g in that horrible clear/blue color because if the great mid purge of late '19. I'm pretty shocked at how nice and Buzzish it flies, nothing like the...

Neutron seems like an ongoing experiment. There is stiff to almost putter soft, clear to completely opaque, and everything in between. I like the variety as long as they keep running all kinds so...

MVP puts extra mass/weight in the plastic on the outer rim, while making the plastic in the middle as light as possible. This gives them different gyroscopic properties in flight compared to...

In general I like shaping lines with neutral discs, so I use my straightest disc in each class almost always. I only bump up to more overstable or down to more understable when dictated by a more...

I can't imagine, from a marketing perspective, why MVP would drop this announcement without announcing a new mid as a quick follow up. I mean we have been handed a very tangible negative, yet only...

You would be surprised. In my experience MVP does not often replicate a process wirhout making incremental improvements. For example the "lock and key" mechanics where the two pieces of the discs...

There are many Axiom/MVP mold counterparts that are closer than Envy/Particle. That's why my best guesses for the Particle's termination are molding issues (I read somewhere it didn't mold up well...

The only real puzzler here for me is the Particle. It is super modern and probably the closest thing MVP has to like a P2. Perhaps the mold has issues. There is some overlap with the Atom which...

I need to get a good stiff overstable one. The last one I had (and all the ones available locally) was the new gummy N that doesn't skip well on grass. Fireball needs to come to the ground hot!

I've been bagging Wraths most the summer and they are really nice discs, but the Photon really is like a longer version for me. It also does seem to go really well with the Volt/Relay.

As always...

I was referring to Octanes, but I was just thinking about Photons as well. I have a couple (N and P) and I will probably pick up a couple more. I want them to fill the speed gap in my bag between...

My summer of speed 13 love suggests that PLH is king and any weight or plastic (domey or flat) could go more over or understable than the baseline. Now if anyone can say specifically "the stiff...

This is probably from too much weighting agent as MVP tries to find a balance between gyro performance and durability. Personally I've always liked the feel and flight of thicker flat or slightly...

I really like the Relay/Volt combo. It comes from the old school approach of having one slow glidey neutral to understable mold paired with another disc that resists turn and fades reliably with...
