Anyone who doesn’t like the Discraft plastics should try a Kastaplast Gte with that sweet K1 plastic. Very similar to a Comet in shape. Got one of each (z & k1) and they fly exactly the same.

Tried out a 166g c-line the other day, and so far it seems to fly just like my max weight Champion Firebird (both pretty much boardflat). Guess it’s on to the CD2/Undertaker/Vulture in my quest for a...

Got one in the spring, took it to a field but couldn’t figure out what to do with it so it went on the shelf.

Recently put it in the bag next to a Z Comet and played a round in the woods. Gte...

Is there a significant difference in stability between K1 & K3 when new?

Noticed that the K3 Kaxe starts out more overstable than the K1 (maybe because K3s are flatter and K1 has a dome) which is...

There’s also the Kastaplast Kaxe, often described as the lovechild of a Roc and a Teebird. It’s slightly faster than a Roc3 but if you like throwing hard it might be something to try out. My K1...

Thanks for all the input :)

I agree that a DX Roc can hit Alot more trees than people give them credit for, it’s just that most baskets here are surrounded by stones so even a perfect throw can...

I use two K3 Rekos, one beat to straight and one new. They both get used for putting as well as driving with angle, line and wind dictating which one to use. They are surprisingly durable to be...

K3 Reko. Even with a full bag this summer, it took over so many shots from mids that I almost played half the course with just the Reko

Used to have the same issue and after testing different molds I found XT Nova and K3 Reko to be most reliable.
Of course practice and angle are the most important factors, but it absolutely seems...

Question S/OS mid with dome?

Looking for any tips for a stable/overstable mid to compliment my Z Comet. Have been using Roc3s and Kaxes for a while, but the comet put me in the mood for something with a little bit more dome. KC...

Got my first ever ace with the Grym X last month so I guess I’ll have to keep throwing them now. :) :) They feel so much better in the hand than destroyers. Ordered a Rask to deal with the headwinds.

K1 seems to be less stable compared to the K3, and possibly have some more glide and a slight hint of turn.

Been playing wooded courses with 2 K3 for the whole summer and so far they have not...

I have decided to stick with the Destroyers for now. The Grym X (somewhat pop top) is just too understable to trust as main distance driver. It's got more turn and less fade than the numbers...

Picked up 2 lightweight mcbeth stars, a 138 penned and a 163 empossed. These discs are very fun to use.
The 138 was very understable out of the box, probably more so than my beat in blizzard...

I picked up a champ manta looking for a leopard3 in midrange form, but this disc flies more like a roc3 but with a slight tiny turn, almost creating an s-line. It's board flat and fun to throw...

I've played 4 rounds on wooded courses with my K3 and so far it hasn't changed at all. Got some scuffs but the flight is the same, starts fading 2 feet from my hand. This might be the most overstable...
