My understanding is that without a slight pronation of the wrist ("forcing" the nose down), you can't get full extension.

I only hyzerflip as a last resort.

When throwing downhill, I prefer to throw a Drone on a spike hyzer. I know it's not going anywhere crazy, and I can trust my disc's stability to get it to the...

I'd say you answered your own question. The rule is counter to growing the sport so it's ignored. That's probably easier than changing the heading on the grid to "Disallowed Ratings" and making the...

Which rule is that? It contradicts the one I quoted.

Like Booter said, the VRoc has both concave and convex portions on the lower mold. I haven't seen any other V discs that I remember. My take on the VRoc is they added a bead to a Mako to put a...

Hey, the PDGA made the information public, not you :)

I've never understood why this is such commonplace. There isn't a disqualifying rating for those divisions. You MUST meet the rating...

I like Squalls. They aren't OS like the other discs you're talking about, but they're straight. Some awesome dude hooked me up with a couple of SPs :D ; they're a bit more stable than the Prolines.

Like others have said, convex bottoms create a more understable flight, so anything with a convex bottom will have to have a very overstable top to get a neutral-overstable flight. The Tracker was my...

My distance driver setup right now is Z Forces and Proline Hurricanes. When I get a chance to get some new plastic, SP Hurricanes and ESP Forces will get in there too. The Hurricanes finish...

It's like "pivot on your heel". I've written that one off too. I'll never tell anyone either of those things. Not because they don't happen, but because focusing on doing either will cause you to do...

That sounds about right. Except that I find backhand to be the same also. And just to clarify "nose down", nose down doesn't mean that a disc is released nose down. It means the nose is down at the...

I suppose that's a fine way of thinking about it. Personally, though, I consider the arm path the fundamental and the release timing more nebulous. It's something that seems to take pure repetition...

The Bolt and Nuke SS are both up towards the top for me for the same reasons, mostly. But I've also found them to not want to turn if you throw it wrong also.

I disagree with that a bit. Spin putting is a lot easier to miss side to side, even with proper mechanics. You can't get mechanics to get a consistent hit, because there isn't enough force to rip the...

Squalls can go a LONG way with very little fade (especially in 150g D-line). I rarely bag another understable mold, and I usually only carry beat-to-understable Polecat and discs in the 12-13 speed...
