I've found it's not so much the speed of the disc being thrown, it's the speed and wrist action when you throw it. High spin but low speed shots with a slow putter are amazingly useful in the woods...

Have you tried a glow z comet? I use a flat one for exactly the slot you're talking about. For something a tick more stable than a comet and a tick faster I use a VIP warship. Great for touchy woods...

Best under stable throwing putter I've found is the innova mirage. Super under stable, but very controllable. Just flick your wrist at the intended target and the mirage will do the rest of the work

I don't see why paul wouldnt put his name on the wasp... it's a better roc3 and an amazing all around disc. My wasp has been in my bag longer than any other disc I own.
