I bag a flat-top recon. I don't have any pictures on hand, but they are completely flat. I never threw the original ones because of the dome, but the flat ones are very overstable/dependable.

It is a microbead and they are definitely not as stiff as the Nova. I like mine for drives and upshots. It's too bad that they turn dirt brown :(

There are some OLFs without the run number, but the majority include it in the stamp. 1.1 are generally flatter and less stable. 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4 all have a little more dome and are more overstable....

Can you post a picture? Are you sure you're not referring to the test runs that were sold on the Innova factory store? I believe that is the "proto" run that ZJ is talking about.
