Yeah, I don't know if its certain runs that are flippy, or if I've just had bad luck with the last two I've thrown. These Trespasses are annoyingly flippy. I don't feel like I can give them any arm,...

OK, I'm starting to notice a trend with the Trespass lately, and it isn't a good one.

They're getting flippier. I've thrown a fuzion and a Lucid Trespass lately, and both of them are really,...

Little Katana insight from lately.....

I've thrown 2 champion Katanas in the last 6 months. Both somewhat gummy. A 167 and 168g. Outstanding bombers. I've been really hit or miss on the Katana...

Out of sheer curiosity, why would anyone WANT star discs with that blizzardy rim? I've thrown them and feel like they're an inferior product and poorly made.

I don't see star discs with those rims...

I agree. It isn't worth arguing over. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on discs/plastic. Not everyone will have the same thoughts on what makes a disc great (or not).

Agree. I liked the regular star Mystere a lot more than the shimmer star. More dome, stiffer plastic, and much better glide.

I've thrown 2 shimmer star discs, a Mystere and a Tern. The Mystere was a little flat and gummy. I also didn't think it glided as well as it could have. The Tern was a domey, perfect bomber and the...

Maybe he's getting a little old to bomb with Bosses.

He still seems to throw Destroyers. I think the Boss is pretty much like a Destroyer, just one speed faster. Bosses are somewhat underrated....

I'm a little surprised he didn't dabble around with the Boss at all there.

I agree the Firestorm is a bit of a weird one. I have a star 175g from the initial holiday run last year. Its actually a fairly worthy driver. It definitely didn't come out as overstable as Innova...

You really want to go nuts, try an air Freedom. Surprisingly it isn't as flippy as you'd think. It'll still turn over easily, but will actually hold a line if you throw it hyzer.

Absolute bombs.

Its like throwing a paper plate. I'll occasionally mess with light bomber discs in the practice field, but they have no use on the course.

I don't throw rollers on the course, but I've thrown some...

The starlite Boss is one of those discs that seems cool on paper. Throwing the disc is a whole other matter. The distance capability is there. I've thrown a couple of them for HUUUGGEEE distance....

Someone definitely needs to get their sig on this one. Great, horribly underrated disc. I've bagged the Flick for over a decade.

You never know when the Flick will come in handy. I throw mine at...

I liked the Pulse better than the Force. It seemed a little flatter and had a shallower rim. The Pulse is technically a slower driver, but for me it flew longer and straighter than a Force.

The...

Yeah, I really don't even know who the Freedom caters to. Its one of those annoying discs that flies like crap if you don't get it up to speed, but flips violently as soon as you do. I'd put the...

I hear you. I've thrown many, many driver molds over the years. I'd say about 60% of them are thoroughly meh. Like, not bad, but not overly memorable either. 20% are below expectations or just flat...

I've dabbled around with MVP/Axiom drivers, but none of them have made a huge impact on me. I've thrown 2 Octanes, a Mayhem, a Vanish, and a Catalyst. The Vanish surprised me the most. It isn't as...

I have a love/hate relationship with pro plastic drivers (mostly hate). Pro plastic bombs. There's no denying it. I've had a few good pro drivers through the years that flew massively. I remember...

Was it shorter than you were expecting? Too flippy?

I've thrown a couple TD2s and they both bombed for me. I mean, massive distance for a speed 10.

Its a very wild disc. Thrown hard you don't...

For me the Thrasher is like a Surge, but somewhat flippier and with better glide. I can easily get better distance with the Thrasher, but the Surge is way easier to throw hard without flipping it...

Glidiest driver I've tried is still the Shryke. Especially in G*. I agree with you that a lot of discs touted as "high glide" are average.

Sheriff and Captain definitely have above average glide....

Thrashers are really finicky. I've thrown 2. 1 was perfect S curves. The other turned over almost every time I threw it. Very hard disc to throw and keep in the air. You need a perfect amount of...

8 of any disc seems a bit excessive. I know Destroyers have some inconsistency, but carrying 8 of them is ridiculous. If that were me about half of those Destroyers would probably never get thrown....
