In case you wonder, how stable the 174g Geo Essence is while new? For me its more stable than my year old 174g S-line FD and less stable than a few weeks old 170g Meta Instinct.
For MVP comparison,...

awaking an old thread
I was afraid that the TD2 would be too flippy and not really a disc I could trust for FH or for a long straight throws. I'm glad I was wrong. Just got a new S-line @max weight and its not too flippy...

Just got and had a few throws with a new S-line DD3 vs a new Neo Enigma. DD3 is surely more stable as numbers also suggest. On a hard flick I can throw max 360-380ish and for that distance the DD3...

I think I have to go and shoot a vid how domy Wave flies and glides. :D Sure, it is understable and turns for days, but that's exactly what I use it for. For turnovers >360ft.

Since I lost my neutron Volt, I've got some more throws in with my Waves. I can now say with confidence, that CN is a lot more resistant to wind gusts than Plasma and Fission. The Fission is...

Octanes are nice, but not understable for most people. I can get them to around 390-400 on a good throw and for that distance max weight Plasma Octane has pretty much no turn at all. Another 165g...

Depends how its thrown, yes. If I full rip my plasma it goes all the way left (LHBH) and never fades back, no matter how much hyzer is given. 350 is easy with it. 390-400 is doable but it needs...

It seems to have a same amount of turn but less fade, making it a rather straight disc for 300-330 or so throws for now.
Once it beats in, it will surely have more turn than my plasma has.

However, i'm not disappointed, since I...

Yeah, most plastics are moisture sensitive. Some more than others.
For example, can't really 3D print a nice smooth surface from a moist PTEG. It will come out all bubbly. Nylon's are even worse.

Not at all. Assuming that all the critical points stay consistent throughout a single run, they'd only need to measure a several per run, per production line - just like you were saying.
