The flight in that video looks a lot like a fresh Thunderbird to me. One of the 2 being thrown is obviously slightly more stable than the other, but still. The less stable one looks like the flight...

Hahaha, and I remember when we all talked about how overpriced Electron was at $12 for its (lack of) durability. Honestly, buying any baseline plastic for more than $10 just seems kind of ridiculous...

The 2015 Halloween Star Thunderbirds are some of the most underrated in my opinion. They are more overstable than regular Champ Thunderbirds but with a less dumpy fade than the first run of DX (and...

Oh and please don't get a Roc3, VRoc, VRoc3, RocX3, etc. Those are not "Rocs," just Innova trying to profit off the name. If you want to see what made this mold famous, just buy a regular, old DX or...

Find a store with a used bin and find the most beat up, slashed, chipped, junky looking Roc you can and buy it. It will be magic. Then get a new one for a shorter, more stable compliment to that.

Very nice! I have a few of these and they do fly great. My only beef with them is this blend of champion plastic is super slippery for my grip. If it's not perfectly dry out, there's no way I can...

Right, but the Eagle was released back when they still put patent numbers on molds, and the Scorpius wasn't. The Eagle mold needed the patent numbers removed so they were ground off just like with...

For very uphill shots, I throw nothing faster than a 7 speed and often just a mid. I just can't generate the power at that upwards angle to keep a distance driver going straight up the hill. And if I...

I was there in person for that one. I still remember the groan from the crowd when Ricky hit that branch on his second drive during the playoff.

Yeah I've noticed this a lot in the past. Often Paul would have a slow start to a tournament, but his scores each successive round would just get better and better. A lot of players will have a hot...

Guys, watch the video again. He definitely said that the DD3 is LESS overstable than his PD2's. He said that his backhand overpowers the DD3 so he mostly uses it forehand. That's an Eagle-problem:...

Well that "Secrets to finding the right Destroyer" video did finally confirm one thing we've suspected for a long time: the Scorpius definitely shares at least some mold parts with the Destroyer. I...

Yep. Also basic econ: there is no absolute value, only perceived value. People often perceive value through comparison to similar objects or services. So whether or not $20 a disc is "pocket change"...

Awww, that's pretty cute. Your daughter has great form. How far is she throwing there? 150 - 200? Probably too much disc for her at this point, but if she keeps it up she'll be bombing that Kong...

Yeah, sorry, but not sorry. There are plenty of people with small hands out there who throw slower discs and still score very well. There are plenty of short people without particularly long arms who...

I don't get the whole "custom fit" angle for disc golf. I mean, we throw pieces of plastic. Aerodynamics don't change. Heaven knows that manufacturers have produced just about every conceivable shape...

You know whenever people give their critiques of pro athletes, inevitably someone brings up the "Hey, they're way better than you, thus you have no right to critique them" angle. Honestly, I don't...

I think it has been remarked on before, but molds are generally designed for a certain type of plastic. The 3 top mold piece was designed for champ. DX shrinks a lot more than champ during cooling....

Through a whole lot of practice, I'm pretty money from 25 and in most days. Even at 30 feet, I might not take the deal although it might improve my scores. If you made it 35 feet I'd almost certainly...

His driving was mostly good, but so many missed putts with the Lunas. He's definitely not dialed in on those 30-45 footers yet. On that second round, I would guess with his Aviars he would have been...
