Didn't occur to you that the affair might have been a one time thing? IIRC, Cat and Paul did reconcile after that and were together for a couple more years before calling it quits for good.

That's another sign of poor design, IMO...a mando that's primary function is safety. It's a crutch that designers overly relied on to design/install courses for the sake of installing courses. At...

The original injury happened on hole 1 at USDGC when he turned his ankle. The blow could well have been a bone on bone collision within the ankle when that happened. And easy enough to miss that...

Is there a reason that changing the rule to allow for an out of bounds stance as long as the marker/lie is in-bounds shouldn't be considered? Or at least a reason that isn't an instinctive anti-ball...

Same here. Most miserable rounds I've played were 35-40 degrees, pouring rain, and 20+ MPH winds. I'd much prefer 10-15 degrees colder so the rain becomes snow.

This is exactly right. If...

The bolded is fine and works...if the throwers are using common sense. The problem is that there are throwers who do not use common sense. That's where the question of good/bad design comes in,...

First, you're conflating three separate teams. Grady Shue was Latitude, not DD. Coda and Nikko were/are on Westside, not DD.

Second, you are forgetting Chris Clemons.

Third, I'm not sure how...

Exactly. I don't think "did the best they could with what they had" is an adequate excuse for designing holes that potentially endanger other user groups. If you can't create a design that is safe,...

Oh, no, it's the mythical non-PDGA member out to lie, cheat, and steal his way to the tens of dollars worth of prizes that plagues 0.000000001% of tournaments throughout the world.

I'm not conflating anything.

In the sliding example, you can't pick up your hand before release because picking up your hand IS the act of releasing the disc. The moment the hand breaks contact...
