The Hades was really nice for me until I broke it in initially after the first month or two. It settled into a really flippy disc. My preferred release angle for power drives is flat, and the Hades...

I'm not quite sure what you're trying to get across with your points. I'm not trying to compare the stability of the Surge SS vs other distance drivers and using its unusually high PLH as a basis...

Surge SS

I searched in this subforum, but don't see a topic for this particular disc. I'm interested to hear people's thoughts on it.

I recently ordered one of the recent swirly ESP runs with the...

Every River I have thrown goes right and only right. At least a Hex when new has some fight back. The two are definitely not similar. I do agree though that there's such a small gap between them...

Dome should be the only differentiator between 3 series and not 3 series. Wing shape and rim width are the same. Of course plastic molding and cooling is not an exact science, so it wouldn't...

By a good margin. I throw my fairways around 330. To me, if the new FD is 7/6/0/1, then an Opto River is 7/6/-2/0.

I've been using and adoring a DD Commander for over a year now, and I have no complaints about it. However, I play disc golf so much, that I've been wearing myself down with a fully loaded Commander...

I recently ordered a bunch of purple discs to construct a purple themed bag. I got 2 purple of the Italian Blend FDs from Discmania, and gave them an audition today.

These things are flat out...

I've used and loved my Commander for over a year now, but I'm just now getting to the point where its weight when fully loaded with 25 discs and 2 32oz bottles wears me down too easily after a round....

I wasn't even aware the Commander had a chest strap, at least mine doesn't. I just got a new Upper Park Shift and I've taken off its chest and waist straps-- I never use them, not for how often I...

A Teebird is straight, straight, straight, straight, then a predictable fade at the end. By straight I don't mean it has any drift or turn to it, just forward pushing straighness. A Teebird takes a...

Honestly I think you'd be better suited with a Streamline Stabilizer. A little slower, more glidey, and with less skip.

If you must have a Zone, then Cryztal Flx, but it will probably be too...

Innova makes a -1/3 for plenty of speeds slower than the Destroyer. Wraiths, Orcs, Eagles are great. Thunderbird is great too but have to beat it in a little.

I can't speak for really old JA birds, but the 2020 and 2021 ones are both rather beefy. 2021 and 2022 AB birds are just like you describe, pretty mellow out of the box.
