I want to give a shout out to MVP's customer service. My two year old Voyager bag started coming apart prematurely, and Jessica at MVP stood by their warranty with absolutely no fuss. I explained...

I'd make sure to go for a premium plastic if you want an Envy exclusively for throwing. I've bagged Electron Envies too, but IMO they lack that Envy Gyro Magic and are a much less unique putter. A...

Don't get me wrong -- I'm not trying to encourage someone to focus on accelerating. That's a recipe for disaster. But his initial question was "what is the mechanical reason for a reach back" and...

No, I'm aware of the difference. Hence why I said "Similar (although not same) concept with a reach back" and then went on to explain the difference.

But if a lateral acceleration example makes...

It's about acceleration.

Think about dropping a rock from a foot off the ground. Now drop it from the top of a 10 foot ladder. Now drop it from a three story building. Which time did it hit...

Stable discs are going to fly pretty similarly for most people, as long as you meet the minimum power requirement to get it up to speed and have clean form. Understable discs are affected by the...

Call me crazy, but I think that Eclipse run had a bit of dome to it. Not a ton, but still more than your standard Envy. It feels more like a normal/non-gyro putter in hand and is comfier to putt...

Totally agree. Especially now that I don't play much in the wind, I think my favorite Envy would be that batch of Eclipses from a couple years ago. Just a hint of turn plus some added glide...

Trilogy mids go far. Warship, Core, Evidence, and Truth are all pretty neutral mids that absolutely bomb. Tursas is controllably understable and goes as far as most of my Speed 9 discs. And Emacs...

I dig it. I've always loved Envies even when not bagging them. I was trying to minimize molds a bit, which is why I didn't replace my last Envy that I lost a year ago in the snow. Figured I could...

Pads.

Yeah, my personal experience has been that gyro molds are way more consistent than the competitors. Like, annoyingly so. I never found value in bagging more than one disc of any given gyro mold...
