I use a Comet and Roc for longer flights of these. X Comet, hyzer flip. Star rancho roc. I don't care that no one likes that version of the roc - Domey and it glides.

You're probably not REALLY 75 ft behind most folks. Most people on DGCR seem to claim over 400ft but 80% of those probably 280ft IRL lol.
