Firebirds are just good old fashioned DX cycling discs. As they beat in the lose the LSS way before they lose the HHS so you end up with just a long straight disc that doesn't really turn over much...

It's a small bead Aviar PandA. Back in the 90's the glow big beads said "Aviar" on them and the glow small beads said "Putter" on them. The putters were also in the slightly softer DX plastic.
