No aces but more fun was had! Not a great scoring day and I lost a perfectly seasoned Defy (first disc that I have ever lost on that course) but every visit is a good time. Nice to play a few holes...

That's just it. Shallow discs are not "glidey" by design. I've always kept a well worn neutron Anode in the bag for just the slot you're describing. Plenty'o'glide on that sucker.
