How do you hold a putter on a non-putt throw?
I use a modified fan grip......but if you are "flipping" the disc a may be an oat issue and for what its worth IMO you should have the bulk of the pressure on any grip between the meat of your thumb pad and your middle and ring finger.....not between the end of your thumb and your pointer finger.

If you are used to having most of the pressure on the end of your thumb and right on the index finger it will feel extremely odd to change, but thats because you are going to be using muscles you are not used to using by transferring that pressure to the pad/meat of your thumb.......Did wonders for my game......hope that helps
