A stable disc is also good for push putting, because it's predictable. I'd say wizards and kc Aviar's are the most popular of push putters. You can see that most of the good push putters loft the disc and let the stability take over. The disc drops in with hyzer. I just switched to SS Wizards (from KC's) and the grip is amazing. Don't be fooled by the term soft or super soft though, they're both pretty firm.
